Out Of Her League

"whatever you want us to be"

"the kiss?" I said putting my head down feeling a bit insecure .
"What about it?" she says looking a bit confused
I start to get frustrated, what does she mean
"what about it"
is she really gonna act like nothing happened
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT ABOUT I-"
I realize what I did and start to feel guilty. I didn't mean to yell at her.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
I say before feeling her soft lips on mine I turn bright red she pulls away and says
"if your wondering what the kiss meant it means..."
"serenity!"
i hear something call from in the cafeteria
"what are you doing with that weirdo let's go" a popular girl spits at us
she looks disappointed as she walk away into the cafeteria with the girl
"UGHH" I say frustrated
I could have known what the kiss meant to her if that girl didn't intrude

the bell rings meaning lunch is over and the next period would be started soon. I walk to my class and sit in the back, more people start coming to through the door and all the seats are filled while the teacher is telling us about the essay she wants done by Monday I raise my hand and ask to go to the bathroom
She says yes and I start walking down the hall. Once I get to the bathroom I see serenity. Me and my green-brown eyed fling lock eyes and she smiles at me
I ask her bluntly, What are we?"
I see her getting nervous but she covers it up with a giggle. She walks closer to me and puts her hand around my waist. My heart feels like it's about to jump out my chest and skips a beat. She puts her forehead against mine and says...
"whatever you want us to be" she kisses at me when she walks out the bathroom
"what's the supposed to mean" I mumble low enough so she wouldn't here me
i don't know what she wants us to be. I don't even know if I like her, this isn't fair! Why am I always so confused when it comes to us.I go back to class and sit back down in my seat the class goes by fast since all I'm worried about is what she said to me the next thing I hear is
"have a good evening guys" My teacher grins
then the bell rings I grab my book bag and start heading out the front door. I get on my bus and sit in the front row. Once I blinked home was  in front of me, I was daydreaming of Serenity! once I finally get home all I can think about is what she said. How am I supposed to know what we are I don't even know who I like I thought I liked Derrick but now I'm rethinking..
"but i don't like girls?!...do I?"
I hear a knock at the door I go down stairs in a rush and see a letter.....
