It was another freezing day in New York which Roxi couldn't stop talkin' about how "amazingly unreal" her day was Saturday.

"Okay Rox,you've been talkin' about Saturday all day."I giggled as we walked up to Tigers school.

"Aye!Wait up!"I turned around to Jacob behind us.

"I thought you were going home?"I frowned knowing he could have got his ass beat.

"I...um.."he looked really nervous.

Tiger ran up to with animal crackers in his hand.

"Hey,you had fun at school?"I grinned putting his crackers in his backpack as he nodded.

"I um-" he started again.

"Carmen we really gotta work on that project!"she smiled,thinking about last Saturday probably.

"Ok,start walkin'."I whispered at the end as she took Tiger's hand starting conversation.We were on our way to the library before we got the poster board we need.

"So what-"

"I want you to go out with me...on a date...this Saturday."

He smiled nervously.

I say Yes,he thinks I like him,

I say No,he is....confused.

I smiled laughing playfully.

"I..can't so-"

I started walking away but he caught my hand.

"You said it yourself you don't get out much!Come on,please."

He pouted really cutely.I stopped thinking for a moment.I blushed nodding a Yes.Rox is going to freak.

"I'll text you tonight."he smiled hugging me tightly.

"Whoa!"I giggled not expecting that.

"How'd you even get my..-"

"Ms.Turner gave it to me."he smirked.

"That Bi-"

"Carmen!"Roxi yelled at the corner.

"I'm comin'!"

"See you later ok?"

"See you later..."

We both blushed backing away in a daze.Why did I just do that?I sighed thinking of how hopeful he feels he has a change with lyin' me.

"So did he ask you!"she gushed as we crossed the street.

"What?!How'd you even-"

"Oh come on Carmen,it's obvious he was tryna ask you out and you,being the mean-careful person that you are.You said no."she frowned showing winkles in her forehead.

"No!I said yes,you happy?!"I yelled.

She squealed hugging me tightly.

"Come on your messin' up my jacket sheesh!"I threw my hands up noticing a person leaning on a store window.

"Aye sweet cheeks!"Lorenzo flipped off his hood gesturing towards us.

"Oh god."I mumbled trying to walk away quickly.
