Chapter Seven: The Bloodbath - Varados' Perspective

6004 ABY, Darth Varados' Meta-Class Advanced Starfighter, Aka 'Butcher One', just outside the Elixir

"Alright, Butcher Squadron. Move in on the Fall Eternal, over." Varados spoke to the other members of Butcher Squadron.

Butcher Squadron had already engaged in three dogfights with enemy fighters, and had blown up two major command ships, the Fever Dream, and the Scarlet Martyr. As they closed in, they saw that a shuttle was flying away, and was headed to the Elixir.

"Where is that shuttle going, over?" Butcher Three asked no one in particular.

"I don't know. We should take out the Fall Eternal, and then follow the ship, over." Butcher Two replied.

"That's a good idea, Butcher Two," Varados said, "We will move forward under new orders. Scythe Squadron, follow and track the shuttle. The rest of you, take out the Fall Eternal, over."

"Roger that, over." Everyone replied.

"Butcher Squadron, attack maneuver Orion Split-up, over." Varados commanded, before veering towards the bridge of the Fall Eternal, with Butchers Four and Five on either side of him.

As they approached the bridge, Varados' wingmates suddenly veered off in either direction as a diversionary technique. Meanwhile, Varados plowed forward towards the bridge. As he got closer, he primed his missiles, and just before he collided, he fired the missiles at the bridge and veered upwards, away from the bridge. As he got farther from the bridge, he saw the engines go up in flames as well.

"Sir, we found a weak point in the engine, so I suggest we get as far away as possible, sir. It might detonate the reactor core, over." Butcher Two said.

"Roger that, over." Varados and the others replied before regrouping and heading towards the Elixir.

As soon as they left, Scythe Leader commed in. "Sir, our scanners are indicating that the shuttle is headed for Slaughter Group's hangar. For some reason, the Elixir won't fire on the shuttle. Over." he said. They all flew into the hangar, and when aboard, they could tell that the shuttle hadn't opened up for the crew, seeing as Theseus and his troopers were all still alive and had weapons raised. Butcher Squadron got out and met up with Theseus.

"Thanks for joining us. We're gonna need the assistance." Theseus said.

"Not a problem. Why didn't the cannons in this sector fire on them?" Varados replied.

"We don't know, sir. We think it might have been technical error" Theseus began, but was cut off by the shuttle opening.

Four figures stepped out of the ship. After the smoke cleared, the lead figure ignited a blue dual-bladed lightsaber and then spoke.

"Hello. My name is Poseidon E2-04, and I'm looking for my brothers, Kronos, Hades, and Thanatos. You wouldn't happen to know where they are, would you?" Poseidon asked.
