Zim let out a long deep sigh his eyelids drooping as his whole body seemed to sink under his stress "Today did not go at all as Zim had planned it." Looking around the small room Zim glanced nervously at the shower, the idea of flowing Earth water making him shudder, he was glad there was a curtin in between him and the threat. Zim glanced down at his injured arm "I should run a general diagnostic and take off this stuffy disguise" Zim thought. Zim stood still and tall as long thin mechanical arms folded out from his pack removing his contacts and wig before storing them nicely within his small pak. Despite how small it looked Zim's pak was actually both incredibly durable and useful, it could fit any objects with a large amount of mass or volume without bothering Zim in any kind of way, using this to his advantage Zim would often store general supplies, and necessities within his Pak in case of emergency.
Zim rubbed at his eyes as the contacts came out "That feels so much better, Zim's eyes where getting sore from wearing those for so long."
Zim's long black anteni twitched and vibrated in the room as the sounds and smells became far more noticeable, and he was finally able to use the air currents to properly map out the room and get a proper feel of the world around him. Zim always felt so blind whenever he wore his disguise, it blocked and muffled so many of his primary senses that he often tried to avoid wearing it as much as possible.
Zim's pack notified him that his diagnostic was complete and he pulled up the results reading them slightly aloud to himself "Blood Loss, Increased Heart Rate, High Levels Of Adrenaline, Sleep Recovery Higly Recommended." Zim's anteni drooped back still vibrating with thier sensitivity "That's no surprise." He muttered." Zim carefully took off his clothes and put them in his pak, to be sanitized and cleaned along with his wig. Zim shudderd at the cold room and took out his special Irken soap before meticulously cleaning and grooming himself.Dib walked down the stairs and stopped at the bottom looking over to where Ash and Lizzy sat on the couch. "Do you want to talk while I get washed up in the bathroom?" Dib asked as Lizzy turned to look at him.
"Yea" Lizzy nodded as she stood up following Dib to the downstairs bathroom where he turned on the sink and began washing off his face.
Dib ran the cold water over his face the pink blood steaming slightly as he washed it off giving his cheeks a numb buzzing feeling. Lizzy leaned in the doorway just watching her husband in the mirror before he looked up at her reflection "Well..?" He asked his voice dragging the word slightly. Lizzy narrowed her eyes at her husband still frustrated from this morning "Well? well what?" She asked. Dib turned to look at his wife startled by her tone "You just said you wanted to talk, but you were just standing there and I didn't know what to say." Dib stuttered trying to apologize.
Lizzy crossed her arms "Well maybe you could start with an explanation." Lizzy insisted, her level of frustration clearly expressed in her tone. Dib furrowed his brows standing up taller and ignoring the buzzing on his cheeks, "Sweetheart, what's going on? What's gotten you so upset?" He asked truly concerned for his wife. Lizzy stood up her hands outstretched in front of her, "Why am I upset? Dib I Have Been Jumping Through Hoops For You Today And I'm Frustrated!" Lizzy groaned and leaned back against the doorframe placing a hand over her eyes and rubbing her brow "Dib, sometimes it feels like I'm walking on eggshells around you, I just want you to talk with me, I want to know what's going on." Dib turned back to the sink splashing the water back over his face, his silence all that much more evident, "See Dib this is what I'm talking about, You Never want to communicate with me!" Lizzy turned to look at her husband a pleading look in her eyes "Dib what is it that is so hard for you to tell me anything? Dib am I really that unimportant that you can't even tell me about your friend?" Dib stoped, cold water driping from his cuped hands into the sink, his tone stoped, going from concerned to a dull anger "Can we please not have that conversation right now." Lizzy snapped at her husband "Dib you Never want to have That conversation!" Dib groaned into a towel as he dried off his face "Lizzy," Dib started his pitch low and his tone harsh "Listen-"
Dib was cut off as a loud crash was heard coming from upstairs. Lizzy looked at Dib worry in her eyes "What was that?" She asked nervously "That sounded like it came from upstairs..." Dib started before he was hit with realization "Curses Zim!" He yelled before running past Lizzy and out the bathroom door. Lizzy rushed after him "Wait Dib I'm coming!" She yelled before he stoped on the stairs "No. You take care of Ash" he commanded before continuing his treck taking the steps two at a time.Ash tugged on his mom's skirt "Mommy what's going on?" He begged her nervously. Lizzy continued to look up the stairs before her voice came out in a whisper
"I don't know Ash, I don't know.." Ash pulled his hand away looking up at his mother in his eyes flickered some sort of dreaded understanding before Lizzy turned down to Ash barely the hint of a tear in her eyes,
"Come on Ashtion" she smiled "Let's go watch your show."
