Ash leapt off of the ship into Zim's arms before Zim set him down onto the soft purple grass. Ash ran ahead to the edge of a large crater that consumed a third of the planet. "Woaaaa!" Ash gasped "Zim this is so cool! Is this where you live?" He asked excitedly. Zim nodded "Yes this is Zim's home." Ash looked across the crater, the dark brown soil and blue stone seeming to glow and glisten under the turquoise sky.
"Is your family here too?" Ash asked. Zim walked up beside Ash and held onto his hand, not wanting the Ash smeet to fall. "No Zim's family is not here." He said softly.
Ash looked up at Zim "You live alone?" He asked. Zim nodded, his anteni resting behind him. "Yes Zim Does."
Ash furrowed his brow in concern "Then where is your family?"
Zim pressed his forehead to Ash's, his anteni taping slightly on his hair causing Ash to giggle. "Do not worry about Zim, my little Ash smeet. We are here to have fun. So what do you say we go explore?"
Ash grinned and his eyes began to sparkle at the idea of exploring another planet. "Yea let's go!" He cheered..
Zim and Ash ran through fields of violet grasses, and past tall twisted trees with white stems and yellow leaves. They walked past fields of tall cream colored leaves that stood higher than either of them could see past.
Ash pointed excitedly at a dark orange creature that trotted ahead if them in the distance, it was long and thin like a snake with two pairs of front legs and a third pair further down for its back legs, seeming to float on its back and behind its head where thin white spikes that glistened like floating crystals. Catching sight of them the creature ran away with impressive speed. Ash gazed in awe at Zim who smiled back at him.
They traveled through a rocky terrain where dark purple tubular plants grew in between the dark blue rocks, light pink flowing flowers sticking out of the tops. Through curiosity Ash reached out and softly touched a petal which caused the whole bud to pull back within the tube. Ash's eyes sparkled as he looked back at Zim who chuckled at the plant as well.
Leaving the rocky lands behind Ash saw a light blue bunny looking creature with six golden eyes and clear antlers duck away behind the rocks behind them.Growing hungry Ash had asked Zim for food. Leading Ash along Zim found a yellow leaved bush with purple crescent shaped fruits and offered Ash one. Looking at the fruit curiously Ash noticed small dull white spikes on it. Zim took a fruit off for himself and took a bite, the white juice running down his chin, seeing Zim enjoy the fruit Ash took a nervous bite.
Ash grinned as the sweetness of the fruit touched his tongue, it was like nothing he had ever tried before, the fruit had a sharp flavor to it the tangy sweetness far above anything on earth, it's soft purple skin hid a creamy white inside similar to a dragon fruit with its many tiny blue seeds.Exploring around Ash was able to try various fruits, veggies, and plants that Zim had shown him. The Crescent fruit, some small bright yellow berries that grew on dark red vines and tasted of a creamy flavor, and a black shelled nut with a bright blue inside which had a weird bitter tang to it but was delicious nonetheless. Ash was also able to try the seeds of the tall leaves which they had passed which he hadn't even realized contained small seed pods similar to wheat at the top.
.
Ash leaned against Zim as they both sat down on the craters edge, the sun setting behind the horizon. The Day had seemed to go by so fast and Ash was sad to see it end. "Hey Zim?" He asked. Zim looked down at him, his anteni twitching in the wind. "Yes Ash Smeet?"
Glancing back at the sunset he asked "Does this mean I have to go home now?" He asked sadly. Zim tilted his head "Only if you want to." He said.
Ash turned back to Zim, the light casting the sky into a golden color. "Then how long can I stay?" He asked.
Zim smiled and patted Ash on the head "As long as you would like to Ash smeet." Ash's eyes sparkled "Really? He asked. Zim nodded looking up at the golden sky as it shifted and shimmered, the stars beginning to shine through the clouds. "Of course" Zim promised.
Ash looked back when something flew towards him, it was a small fuzzy yellow ball with four light pink round wings similar to a bee, it had a long thin black tail which had a glowing golden orb at its end. Cupping his hands Ash reached out and watched as the creature landed in his palm a warm glow emanating from its tail.
"I wanna stay forever" Ash gasped as he watched the glowing creature. Zim looked out at the sky as it turned a dark shade of purple, the stars appearing pink. "Forever is a very long time Ash smeet."
Ash furrowed his brows as he watched the creature twitched its short anteni at its many friends that now buzzed around them,"Well then maybe just a little longer?" He asked.
Reaching out a claw and allowing one of the tiny creatures to land on his finger Zim smiled "Of course." He promised.
Ash leaned up against Zim as the golden sun dipped behind the horizon. the planet's blue moon a crescent glow against the dark purple sky and pink stars, Ash let out a small shiver and Zim pulled him in closer, "Come along Ash smeet, let's get you someplace warmer.".
