There was a meeting yesterday. Tammy gave out journals to the kids to write out their thoughts and feelings about their time spent with their new "friend."
Xamani thought it was stupid. Writing down your feelings was a waste of time as it wouldn't make anything better.
But it's not like Xamani really knew, she made herself feel better by slitting her wrists.
Speaking of that, after Ashton left her alone, she pulled her blade out and begin cutting: up and down her arm. She wanted to get a sense of high because she didn't wanna think about what had come to mind: She was losing her best friend.
She immediately debunked it, it couldn't be possible. They'd been stuck together like white on rice. And trust, Ashton had multiple friends, ones that would probably treat her better than Xamani ever would. Everyone knew Ashton because she was vivacious...and because she hung out with the mean, grumpy girl who mugged everyone.
They've been through their ups and downs. A lot of downs but here they were, still strong. So Xamani wasn't about to let one prissy fem make her think they were gonna split.
At the meeting, Carleesa unknowingly made her way to the seat next to Xamani as she fumbled through her purse.
"Hey, Carleesa!" Ashton had said, reaching over Xamani to tap her.
"Hey-" Carleesa halted when she looked up. An annoyed Xamani was glaring at her while Ashton smiled from the other side. "Hey..." she swallowed hard and looked around for another seat but there wasn't any available. She looked back at the two, more so Xamani before hesitating. "I didn't know you were sitting here, I would've sat somewhere else."
Xamani opens her mouth to respond but Ashton beats her to it. "That's alright! We don't mind right, Xa?" Ashton softly kicks her under the table and Xamani glares at her before looking at Carleesa. "Stop being mean," Ashton whispers in her ear. Xamani rolls her eyes. Then she grumbles:
"Right."
"See, it's alright!"
Carleesa gives Ashton a funny look then shrugs. "Well, okay..."
The two begin conversing as if Xamani wasn't there and she didn't like it. If anyone didn't know any better, they'd think Carleesa and Ashton were the best friends.
But Xamani didn't think too deep on it, 'cause while Ashton and Carleesa were buzzing in her ear like flies, she was listening in on what Tammy was talking about.
There were three waves: Wave one, two, and three. It's pretty self-explanatory. The first wave is in the morning, the second wave is at twelve, and the third wave is at six. Xamani would say that the last wave was risky. She thought Cherish did something to her way before the sun came up, imagine what could happen late at night. But of course, Tammy didn't think so. She claimed that all of the people she accepted were "carefully handpicked and background checked".
Xamani was in the first wave again. She knew because Tammy gave out schedules. And although Xamani knew when she had to wake up, she still decided to stay up all night.
