Chapter six: Story Time with Apollo

Ahhh guys I'm soo sorry! I've been busy packing and stuff and I'm really sorry! I'll explain at the end of the chapter so right now, enjoy this extra long chapter!

Mal's P.O.V.

When the sign fades, everyone starts standing up. They all go back to their cabins, like nothing happened. They all start to speak quietly to each other on the way, but I'm too distracted to try and figure that out. I continue to stand in place, not knowing if I could move or not.

I'm related to three gods? Two of the big three, and then my father is Apollo. What? It doesn't make any sense! I mean, how is that even possible?

What cabin am I supposed to be in? I don't fit in with the other Apollo kids, since they all have blonde hair, and mine is a dark red.

Maybe I'll stay with Percy? I've always been complimented on my bright blue eyes. Or maybe my eyes represent the sky? Sky blue is my favorite color, next to lavender.

Do I have any powers? Dan would tell me about how this Poseidon kid (a.k.a. Percy) could control water. He could even go into a lake, then come out completely dry.

He also told me about how this Roman kid whose dad is Jupiter, the roman form of Zeus, and how he could fly and control lightning. Can I do any of that?

Ugh, too many questions that I don't have the answer to!

When I look around, I notice that everyone is gone. Well, except for, Chiron, Dan, Leo, Nico, Percy, Annabeth, and two others I don't know. No one says a word, until the two I don't know walk towards me.

The girl is very pretty, and I guess she's the daughter of Aphrodite. She's got the looks, but something tells me she's different than the rest of her siblings. The boy has blonde hair, and has his arm around the girls waist.

"Hi," the girl says once their in front of me, "I'm Piper, daughter of Aphrodite, and my cabin leader. This," she motions to the boy, "is my boyfriend Jason. He's roman, and his dad is-"

"Jupiter, right? You're the guy Dan would talk about that could fly and control lightning?"

The guy smiles, then stands a little taller. "Yeah, that's me. And you're his sister, Mal."

I nod, then gasp, one thing coming to mind. "Oh my gods." The two of them have a look of confusion on their faces. "What?" Piper says.

"Dan's only related to Hephaestus. How can we be siblings if he's not a descendant of Zeus and Poseidon too?" Piper gives me a sad look, then shakes her head. "I don't know."

"Andromeda, everyone else. Big house, please." Chiron starts walking, us following. Leo falls behind, then walks beside me. "You okay?" I look up at him, seeing concern on his face. I shake my head, then let it hang. "No. Not really."

He puts his arm on my shoulders, pulling me in for a sideways hug. "Well you've got me, Dan, and everyone else." I sigh, and nod. "Yeah, I know." He rubs my back for a second, then drops his hand.

"Look at the bright side, you're related to two major gods, you're the daughter of Apollo! I've got an amazing best friend! I mean, you were before but still!" I laugh as we walk up the steps to the big house.

As we walk inside, I see a ping pong table in the center if the room. Everyone starts sitting down, so I hurry over to sit beside Dan.

After we all sit down, Chiron stands up. "Andromeda, please follow me. The rest of you, wait here." I slowly stand, then follow him to a room that has a box of drachmas, and a hose with a spread nozzle. He turns on the hose, so the water goes out in a fan. The light in the room shows a rainbow.
