Andy's P.O.V.
Her eyes fly open and scatter around, trying to take in the environment. Eventually her gaze lands on me, so I try to look as calm as possible. "Nice to see you awake. How do you feel?"
She looks confused, so I take a deep breath. "You're in the infirmary. You were injured really badly, so the other campers brought you in here and called for me. Now you are all healed."
Her blue eyes scan over her body, checking everything. "What the heck did you do?"
I shrug my shoulders, "Nectar, ambrosia. Speaking of-" I lightly pull her hand off of my arm and go get some nectar. By the time I bring it back, she's already sitting up, waiting. I had it to her and she, like everyone else, gulps it right down.
She sighs after she finishes and leans her head back. "Thanks." I nod, "No problem. So, um, what do you remember?"
She looks at me and shakes her head. "You won't believe me." I smirk at her, and she starts to look confused. "Try me."
She sighs. "Well, monsters have been chasing me ever since I left-, this person. I've been running for about a week now. Sometimes I could convince people to give me a ride somewhere, but only for a hour or so."
I nod, "Well, sounds like almost all of our stories, except for the part where people gave you rides. That sounds more like my friend Pipers. I'll introduce you two later."
She nods and sits up. "So what now?" Right as she says that, Piper comes through the door. "Hey, Andy, I need- oh, hi! You're awake!"
The girl nods. "Yeah, guess so." I point towards Piper, "This is Piper, the one I told you about. And your name is....?" She pauses for a moment, then shakes her head as if she's getting her thoughts together. "Blaire. Call me Blaire." I smile at her. "Okay. Well Blaire, welcome to Camp Half Blood!"
For the next hour or so, Piper and I show her around. We show her the strawberry fields, volleyball court, the pavilion, everything. After we get back to the big house, I see Chiron standing there with Nico and Leo by his side.
I wave to them and jog over, Blaire and Piper close behind. "Chiron, this is Blaire. The new camper." He nods and knells down on one- uh, horse leg. "Welcome to Camp Half Blood, Blaire. Do you know what this camp is for?"
She nods, "Demigods. I know all about that kind of stuff. Just don't know who my parent is." Leo looks her up and down and smiles. "I'd guess Aphrodite." Nico elbows him and he throws his hands up, giving an innocent look. "What? Just being honest! She's beautiful!"
Blaire snorts, "Yeah, okay. Do you guys have eye doctors here? I think he needs to go see one." Leo's grin drops, "Who me? My vision is perfectly fine! If you think you're not gorgeous you need some glasses."
Piper nods next to us. "Yeah, Blaire, you are very beautiful. I think Leo might be right. I mean, I know most aren't fighters, but, hey, look at me." Blaire's eyes widen, "You're an Aphrodite kid?"
Piper nods, "Yep! Also head councilor." She blinks a couple of times, "Sorry, I just, it's not that you're not beautiful, cause you are. It's just, well, you're so nice."
Piper grins, "Thanks! Yeah, I'm not the stereotypical child of hers." Blaire nods, eyes widened, "No kidding."
Chiron clears his throat getting our attention. "Well, Blaire, come with me if you will. We have much to discuss." She nods and follows him into the big house. We all stand in silence until Leo speaks up.
"She's, just, wow." I giggle at him and nod, "Yeah, she's something special alright."
We all separate, going on about our days. I go to archery, lava wall, and stables today. I end up with a scrape from a wild arrow, big scrape/burn from the lava, but luckily nothing from the pegasus.
