Chapter 23: Incident

Andy's P.O.V.

I look at Chiron as he takes a deep breath as if there is a lot to explain.

"You're going to go see Rachel in a few moments my dear child, and I will explain to you why."

Nervously I look back at Nico only to see he isn't there. *gulp*

"Um...Okay?"

"Rachel is the person who has the Oracle of Delphi in her/ she gives us prophecies that lead campers like yourself on quests to achieve something. You will be going to find your brother and to save him. Depending on the prophecy certain people might have to go with you. Does this make sense?"

I slowly nod, processing everything he just said very slowly.

"Yeah, Oracle inside of girl, girl gives prophecies, I go on quest. Okay." My mind goes back to the red head Percy had in his arms after I saw the green mist, which happened right before the prophecy...

He nods, "Shall we?"

I gulp and slowly stand up. He walks me out of the Big house, pointing me towards a red headed girl standing next to the building. She looks over at me and give a sad smile.

"I'm sorry we have to meet like this. I'm Rachel, I know Dan personally so I'm glad to do anything I can to get him back."

I nod and start to say thank you when green most starts coming out of her mouth. I take a few steps back in surprise, then freeze as I hear the spine chilling voice that comes out of her.

"The Blood of the lost with the special gift
Will join  two of great power to follow the mist.
Light, water and sky though is timed
Join dark and fire to defeat the blamed.
If control can be had in her time of rage
More than one innocent life they will save."

The mist slowly goes back inside of her body and my mind goes to Percy when this happened to him.

Wait, didn't this girl faint?

As I think that, she starts to crumble. I reach out and grab her right before she would have hit the ground.  I hold her in my arms and look at her body in shock. She does this a lot? And what the Hades did all of that mean?

Chiron comes up next to me and kneels down. He sighs one of sadness as he looks over at me. "Do you know who must join you?"

Light, water and sky...that's me.... Join dark and fire...

"Nico and Leo?"

He nods as a groan comes from my arms. I look down to see Rachel starting to come to. I help her sit up against the building as she blinks her eyes open for a minute.

She looks up at us, confusion then realization on her face. "Did I help?" Chiron nods, "Yes, Ms. Dare, you did."

She smiles then relaxes her body as mine tenses. I have to go on a quest. I've never been on a quest! What if I get hurt-,

If you use me like you can, you will be fine partner.

My hand goes up to Innocent Darkness and I rub the charm in my hand.

Okay.

I stand up and walk away trying to think. I then realize that a crowd has gathered with Conor and Travis in front. I walk over to them and immediately go into Travis' arms. His hug makes me feel all special inside, like nothing can go wrong. He wraps his long arms around me pulling me in tight. I stand thee for a minute then whisper a thank you to him. I pull away and look at all of the people around me.
