Andy's P.O.V.

"Wait...WHAT?"

Thalia gives me a sad look as she rolls her eyes slightly. "You heard me." She shifts her arms and leans harder against the wall. "He disappeared."

My mouth is nearly hanging open as I try and grasp on to what she is saying. So many emotions start to run through me, I don't know what to think.

I'm enraged, dismayed, perplexed, and so much more. I look at Leo and I can see the same emotions going across his face. Then I see a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"Is it possible that he didn't die? I mean, if you didn't find him-"

"I felt him die, Leo." Nico says in a voice of despair, "I can feel hi-"

Nico stops abruptly. After a few seconds his head turns side to side in a perplexed way. I turn my body towards him and raise an eyebrow, questioning his actions.

He looks around at us astonished, like he just realized the meaning of life or something utterly important.

"I don't feel him."

My forehead furrows in confusion as I look around the room to see a mixture of astounded and perplexed faces. "What?" Percy and Chiron ask at the same time.

Nico looks up at them with his mouth open slightly, disbelief covering his face.

"I can't feel his spirt." Annabeth chokes out a sob of disbelief, grabbing onto Percy's arm. He holds her tighly against his side and gives Nico an emotion filled look.

"Are you sure?"

Nico nods, then looks over at me and Leo. I look at Leo and see the confusion on his face that I feel inside. Confusion and fear.

"Nico...?"

He sighs out in a short burst and smiles slightly. "Whatever happened to your brother one thing is for certain, my dear child." Chiron says as he shuffles his legs.

He looks from Leo to me several times, a small glint in his eyes. I feel an arm on my shoulder so I turn and face Percy who has tears in his eyes.

"Andy, he's alive! Dan is alive!"

I feel my heart sink and rise at the same time, like it's pulling itself apart. Tears start streaming down in floods as my breathing gets faster and faster.

"Wh-what? How-, where-,"

I feel arms wrap around my waist pulling me in towards their body, holding me tightly. I take a deep breath and recognize the smell of oil instantly.

"Leo-"

I hear his breath catch in his throat, so I tilt my head up to see the tears on his red face. The red tint in his cheeks shows how emotional he is. His eyes look into mine and we share the same look. The look that has so many emotions, you wouldn't understand what it meant unless you felt the same.

My mind seems full but empty in the same moment, causing my head to hurt. I dig my head into Leo's neck, trying to find the comfort that I need, but feel let down when I don't.

Don't get me wrong, I do find comfort by hugging him, it's just not all of comfort I was looking for.

I close my eyes in an attempt to take everything in as I bring my body closer to Leo's. I assume he feels my grip tighten since his does as well, rewrapping his arms around my body. His shirt rubs against my face as I dig into it like a mole in the ground.

I breathe in his scent again and let it soothe me as best it can. I feel another pair of arms wrap around us, then another, and another until all of us are in a huge group hug. None of us know what to say, so we just let our bodies do the talking....wait, that sounds weird.....

Chiron then clears his throat, causing us to let each other go. He then gives me a look, like he knows I'm not going to agree with what he's about to say. "Andromeda, my child, I think you best be leaving us to discus this right now." My mouth drops open in dismay, then slowly goes back into place. "I understand, Chiron. Just please fill me in later."

He nods so I turn around and leave the big house. I feel tears start to come down, so I start running and running and running. My mind won't focus so I can't explain what was going through my head. I reach the bunker and start to put my hand up to the scanner but stop.

I turn around and head out to the lake, the other side of the campus. I start to run, then without even noticing, flying. As I reach the beach, I touch down and speed walk to the cave.

I run into the darkness and go straight to the far end of it. I slow down then slide down the wall, sitting in the corner. I bring my knees up to my chest, wrapping my arms around them. I rest my head on my arms and look into the darkness.

Again, I can't tell you what was going through my mind, it was like everything but nothing at the same time. I also can't tell you how long I sat there, looking off into nothingness. I barely hear the water hitting the shore, along with the leaves rustling in the wind.

I sit there, silently crying into my arms, letting as many tears come out as I can without loosing composure. Don't ask me why I didn't just let everything out, I just didn't want to I guess. My head falls down into my arms, relaxing my neck muscles.

I start to let my mind drift, so I don't hear the steps of feet coming towards me. I feel something on my shoulder so I instinctively start throwing punches that hit something soft and warm. Like a person.

"Ugh."

As soon as they groan, I recognize that same groan from when I previously hit him. "Nico?"

"Yeah." He says in a stressed voice. "Sorry!" He slowly gets onto the ground next to me and gives a forced laugh. "Why must you always hit me?"

My cheeks turn red with embarrassment even though he can't see, as I look at him with sorrow. "It's a reflex. I'm really sorry."

"It's fine." He laughs, which puts chills down my spine. I love his laugh. It somehow just makes my mood lift up, no matter what. I smile up at him, taking in everything about him. His black hair that matches who he is, this pale skin that makes him look like a ghost, his beautiful eyes, everything.

He looks down at me, causing our eyes to lock. Our breathing falls in sync as I look deep into his beautiful orbs, trying to find something.

His eyes turn sad for a moment, then he scoots closer to me to where our legs are touching. I watch him as he lays his legs flat on the ground, then reaches his arm behind me. As he starts pulling me closer to him softly, I can't help but comply.

He pulls my shoulders to his chest so that I'm now in a slanted position. He drapes his right arm around me as I lay my head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. I take deep breaths in an attempt to savor the moment.

I move my head so my chin is on my left shoulder and I'm closer to him. His right hand rests on my arm, slowing moving his thumb up and down. My hands lay in my lap, not knowing what to do with them. I close my eyes, thinking of only this, what's going on right now with this boy, Nico Di Angelo.
