Chapter fourteen: The Moments

Andy's P.O.V.

"WHAT THE HADES IS-"

"Dude! Shut up!" I feel something move underneath me, then I realize it's a person. Without opening my eyes, I already know it's Nico. Just by his body I can tell. It's weird yet not at the same time, but it's like our bodies fit together like two puzzle pieces.

I slowly process what happened last night, me giving him the blade, then falling asleep on him. I feel the covers on me, so I assume he picked me up and put me here. I'm just glad he stayed here with me.

"What the hades is going on?!?!" I'm awake enough to know that that voice belongs to the one and only, Leo Valdez. I can only imagine what Leo is seeing, but honestly, I'm to comfortable to care right now.

"Calm down, flame head," Nico says in a morning voice that rattles his chest and, therefore me. "We just fell asleep. Just quit your yelling or you'll wake her up."

I can't help but smile at that.

"Just fell asleep? Nothing else? You didn't have-"

"Gods, Leo, are you insane?" I laugh on the inside from listening to this conversation. I love Leo to death, but he is just like Dan when it comes to me: very protective.

They both pause for a second and I can feel the awkward tension between the two of them. I then decide to pretend to wake up, so I shift around getting closer to Nico. I grumble and dig my head deeper in his chest, tightening my arm around his torso.

He chuckles, bouncing me up and down. "Morning, Andy."

"Morning."

I feel him move his arm and then I hear footsteps retreating. He probably just shooed Leo off.

"Come on, Angel, we have to get up." I grumble in response and he laughs. He starts to move so I just hold on tighter to him.

"Andy?"

"No."

"We need to go eat."

"No."

"We have to go to classes and do stuff."

"Noo."

"Andy, come on. If you don't move i'll tickle you."

"NO!" I jump up in a second and get across the room before he can even blink. If there is one thing you do not want to do to me, it's tickling me. I will kick you like there's no tomorrow.

"Is someone ticklish?"

I cross my arms and shake my head. "No. You need to go get dressed and stuff." He just laughs then gets up. "Okay, fine."

He walks out and closes the door, so I go to my closet and pick out an outfit. I end up going with a black tank, since I have archery, some purple jean shorts and my tennis shoes.

I go out of the bunker and head to the pavilion for breakfast. I go to sit at the Poseidon table, but then I realize Percy isn't here. I sigh, then go and sit with Leo.

After that, we have the usual day, but with out Percy and Dan. It's really weird not having them here.

That's how the whole week goes. I don't really hang out with Nico or Leo because i'm busy doing stuff, and when i'm not busy, they are. It's been hectic.

Today, I have some time off, so I decide to go to the lake. I run up to Nico's cabin and knock on the door. "What do you want?"

"Well, I was going to ask if you wanted to come with me to the lake, but I guess you're in a crabby mood so never mind." I smile and walk down the steps then count to three.
