Chapter fifteen: the Talks

Andy's P.O.V.

We walk out of the cave to see a very mad Piper. "Where have you been?" She then looks behind us. "And where is Nico?"

Leo shrugs, "I guess he shadow traveled away after I called her sugar like you said to."

My head snaps towards Piper. "You WHAT?"

She holds her hand out to me, then talks with Leo. I huff at her and cross my arms. Leo gives me a small smile, then looks back at Piper.

"Did he seem mad?"

"He looked like he wanted to kill me. He probably is plotting my death as we speak. You know, I didn't think this through. He is a child of Hades, so, um, I might be dead in the next few minutes."

She sighs. "Well go talk to him like I told you how to. Use what I said and please don't stray far from it!"

He nods then jogs off. "Remember Andy, i'm doing this because I love you!" I grunt then turn to Piper. "Now, why are you trying to ruin everything?"

She rolls her eyes, then puts her arms up in defense, knowing I would've hit her otherwise. "I'm not ruining anything. This is all helping him realize he likes you."

I roll my eyes at her. "He doesn't like me. So now, this is just going to mess up our friendship that we have!"

She crosses her arms, "How? If he doesn't like you, then he won't care if Leo is hitting on you in front of him. No harm done."

I open my mouth to counter her, but I realize she's right. If he doesn't like me, then why would he be upset?

Piper smiles and brings her hand up underneath her chin. "See? Even though I am an Aphrodite child I can be smart like Anna-"

She stops mid sentence and hangs her head. I sigh also and walk over to her giving her a hug. "I know, Piper. I miss her to. Not as much as you do, but I do still miss her."

She hugs me back and we stay there for a while. We don't separate, until I hear someone call my name.

I turn around to see Connor Stoll out of breath. "Connor?" He motions me forwards, "New camper, injured bad, need help, come on!"

I look at Piper and we share a glance. Then we both start running towards the infirmary.

Leo's P.O.V.

I whistle as I walk up to Nico's cabin. I knock three times, then speak in an announcers voice. "Hello! I'm here to see Nico Di Angelo, the boy with the skull ring. I have a few questions for him that are very important."

The door swings open, revealing Nico with a death stare. "Leave me alone, Flame head." He starts to close the door, so I put my foot in the way. "Hey, I just want to talk about Andy."

He looks at me with a sever killer look, but he opens the door. I smile and walk right in. I look around, seeing all the black, then sit down on the made up bed. I assume this one is Hazels, since, well, it's made.

"What about Andy?" He leans against the wall, arms crossed, obviously not happy. "Well," I begin, remembering what Piper told me to say. "I wanted to see if she ever, you know, talked about me."

He huffs and shakes his head. "Can't say that she has. Not that she would like someone like you anyway."

I give him a look, one eyebrow raised. "Someone like what? Sexy? Funny? Nice? Awesome?"

He laughs and readjusts his arms closer to his body. "Don't flatter yourself. I'm just saying that you're not her type and she's not yours either."

I stand up and cross my arms, matching him. "Oh really? Then what is my type?"

He sighs and rolls his eyes. "Not her. She's way out of your league."

I laugh in a huff, "Oh, so she's out of my league but she's in yours?" I can see his gears turning in his head as he freezes for a second. "I never said she was."

I laugh and take a step towards him, "Oh please, don't think I haven't noticed the way you look at her. You think you can get her? Well let me tell you something, Skully, you don't have a chance with her."

I see his jaw clench and do an inner fist pump. Alright, I think, next he'll get defensive, then he'll try to hit me. That's what Piper said.

"I never said that I like her."

I shrug my shoulders, "Besides, what makes you think she'll like someone like you? You'll just end up hurting her in the end. That's who you are."

And that sends him over the edge. He grabs me by the collar and throws me up against the wall. I see the anger in his eyes, so I just smile instead of looking scared.

"I would never hurt her. I know how great she is, and I wouldn't treat her any less than what she deserves."

I smile and laugh. "So you admit it? You like her?"

He huffs and lets me drop to the ground. "Of course I do. Why do you think-"

"YEAH FINALLY!" He jumps back, not prepared for me to scream in his ear. "What. The. Hades. Flame Head?!?!"

I just smile at him with my signature smile. "You know how Piper is with relationships, right?"

He nods slowly. "Yeah. What does that have to do with this?"

I roll my eyes, "She can tell when people like each other, remember? Plus she saw you guys a while back and you had your arm around her, soo..."

I see him start to put it all together and he lets his head slowly drop. "This was all just her plan to get me to say I like her?" I smile and nod, "She said this was the only way to get you to say it. I was just following directions."

He sighs, "Okay, fine." I smile and hold my hand out to him. "We good?" He gives me a glance, so I hold my hand out higher and lower my head slightly.

He sighs, then shakes my head. "Yeah, we're good."

I walk out of the cabin only to have Andy and Piper speed right in front of me, running towards the infirmary. "Hey! Andy! Pipes! What's going on?"

Andy looks back for a split second. "Injury! Really bad!"

I nod even though she turned around and head back to my cabin. Before I get there, I change my mind and decide to start working on something in the bunker.

I go down, whistling on the way. I put my hand on the scanner, then go inside. I pass by fetus, then Andy's room, until I reach the very last room.

I sigh, then look at the hand print on the door. I put my hand on it, then catch it on fire, the print glows, then the door clicks open. I put my hand out while I walk in the door. I close it behind me and turn on the light, revealing my hideout with Dan.

Computer monitors are on one side, the other being one big crafting table. I sit down by the table and dig in my tool belt. I pull out the gem Dan gave me, then I start to get to work on our project.

What is the project, you ask?

Well, I can't say. But you'll find out soon enough. Trust me. *winks*
