Chapter 24: Getting Packed

Andy's P.O.V.

I hear voices in the distance but I can't make out what they're saying. I try to open my eyes but all they do is flutter. I feel myself start to wake up and my hand starts hurting. I wiggle my fingers a little and the voices stop.

"Andy? You awake?"

I groan in response and try to stretch. I peak one eye open to see Will and Percy standing over me with concern on their faces. "I'm awake... Or at least getting there."

Their faces flood with relief as I start to sit up. I look around and realize I'm in Percy's cabin. I look up at them then remember how I got here. I look down at my hand and see a scar forming in my palm. It doesn't seem that noticeable so I sigh in relief.

I look up at Percy and give him a look. "I didn't tell them."

I sigh and nod my head. I look down and see my blood stained shirt. Percy notices and holds up a finger. "I can get Leo to get your clothes-"

I give him a look saying he-asks-too-many-questions. He pauses but quickly recovers, "Or I could go get some of Annabeth's or Piper's. Any preferences?"

I shrug my shoulders, "Nothing too girly looking."

He smiles, nods, then runs out of the cabin. I look at Will and see his over protective glare. I roll my eyes, "I didn't mean to, I was climbing down a tree and slipped."

He shakes his head, "That's not what I'm mad about."

I look at him in confusion so he elaborates. "The branch got inside of your hand. If Black Jack hadn't heard that hell hound of Nico's he wouldn't have-"

"Wait, that hell hound belongs to Nico?"

He nods. "Yeah. But if Black Jack hadn't heard it and got Percy, it could have been a lot worse."

I nod in understanding. "Yeah, infection, bad things like that. I know."

He sighs and starts packing up at of his supplies. "Just make sure you get a lot of medical things before you go on your quest, okay?"

I nod and smile slightly at him. "Thank you, Will."

He leans down and kisses my head, "Your my half sister, I'd do anything to help you out."

My smile grows and I hug his side. As Will walks out, I look out and see Nico walking past the cabin with a frantic look on his face.

"Will, have you seen Andy? I can't find her."

"Um, she went to go get some air earlier. I don't know where though. Sorry."

Nico sighs then looks into the cabin. I throw myself down on the bed so he doesn't see me. "Why were you in Percy's cabin? With-, medical supplies?"

I slowly sit back up to see what's going on. Before Will can answer, a hell hound comes bounding up to Nico in panic. I realize that's the same one that was under the tree. "Hey Mrs. O'Leary, what's wrong?"

She stomps on the ground and takes off towards the forest. Nico looks at Will, then goes running after her. I sigh in relief as Will turn around. "You're lucky I've got your back, sis."

With that he goes down the stairs and goes off towards the Apollo cabin. After a minute, Percy comes in and hands me a black tank top and a neon green bandana. "Here, from Piper."

I take the clothes from his and start to stand up when my head starts spinning. Percy holds me up straight as I get focused. "You okay?"

I nod and give him a small smile as I head towards the bathroom. I close the door and take off my shirt and look at the dried blood on me. It even got on my bra, which was light blue.
