Your POV

You start walking to your office and ask Alex if he wants to come, he follows you to your office and you close your door. You both sit down at your desk and Alex leans forward grabbing things off your desk and playing with them, first a stapler which he pressed and staples shot everywhere, you saw his eyes widen in embarrassment and you just shake your head and slowly rub your head trying not to laugh at him, then he picks up your Lightning McQueen stress toy squeezing it a few times before placing it back down and then a Rubik's cube. You cant help but notice the concentration on his face, his little side tongue whilst trying to figure out the Rubik's cube. Alex looks up and sees you staring at him smiling and blushes a little,
"I've always been shit at these things!" He forcefully puts it back down on your desk and folding his arms, you sit and laugh at him a little.
"Your concentration face is cute though," you say to Alex and stick your tongue out like had been doing whilst playing around with the toys.
"Ha-ha. Nice one, very funny!" He smiles squinting his eyes at you.

You see him reach out for a pen you have in a pot, he picks it up and inspects it,
"is this a slingshot... on the end of your pen?" He looks at you with a raised eyebrow, you nod and he picks a post-it note up and crumples it into a ball and uses it in the slingshot, he turns to fire it at the door and right when he lets go, the door opens and William walks in, the little piece of paper hitting him right in the eye, you and Alex burst into laughter.
"Ow, what the fuck Alex!" William shouts holding his eye, Alex spins in the chair facing you laughing uncontrollably putting his head down on the desk and you put your face in your hands laughing.

Alex sits back up after a few seconds,
"Dude I'm sorry.. i could never do that again if i tried!" Alex shouts between laughing.
"You're such an ass!" This time William starts to laugh at you and Alex laughing, still holding his eye.
"I'm going to head off now with Kyle, I'll see you two later," William walks out wiping his eye shaking his head. You both calm down after a couple minutes and have a drink.
"Hey, so i was thinking, do you wanna come chill at my place tonight or we could go for some food of something? Not just you, I'm going to invite the other guys too," Alex asks you looking hopeful,
"Sure, sounds good to me! No more of your silly shenanigans though, i think William would kill us both!" You both laugh and he gives you a little smile. Just then, your office door opens.

Chase and Mahkaila walk in, Chase's arm around Mahkaila's shoulders, Alex moves off his seat and gestures for her to sit and then moves around your desk and sits just behind you on the window.
"How was your little tour then?" Alex looks in Mahkaila's direction with raised eyebrows and then looks up to Chase, you both watch Chase and Mahkaila look at each other and back to Alex,
"good!" They both say at the same time.
"Hey Alex we should get going!" Chase says to Alex as he checks his watch,
"yeah i guess you're right. Are you two wanting a lift with us or are you making your own way there?" Alex asks the question looking around and then turns to you,
"i have a couple of things i need to do before i come, I'll bring Mahkaila with me. Now go, don't want to be late do you! We'll see you both soon!" Alex and Chase start heading out of your office,
"oh wait, since you aren't coming with us! Here (Y/N)... i trust you!" Alex throws you the keys to his truck and winks at you before running to catch up to Chase.
"Holy shit!" You say looking down at his keys,
"someone obviously likes youuuuuu!" Mahkaila says smirking and then starts laughing leaving you stood blushing.

Chase POV

On arrival at HMS...
"Hey Mahkaila, come with me I'll show you around, I'm sure William will be here too and maybe Kyle," you grab Mahkaila's arm and drag her behind you down the corridor. Mahkaila didn't really say much, you could tell she was quite nervous to be around you still.
"Listen, you don't have to be nervous around me, i don't bite!" You say over your shoulder smirking, you hear Mahkaila giggle behind you as your still pulling her along with you.
"I'm not very good with peopling if I'm honest, especially not when its someone you love and root for and watch every single week on TV!" Hearing this made you smile a little but you didn't say anything back.
You finally let go of Mahkaila's arm when you heard voices,
"ahh here we go," you say opening the door to go outside holding it for Mahkaila guiding her through the door holding her back.
In front of you both, William and Kyle stood talking packing their bags.
"And who's your lady friend Chase?" William locks eyes with Mahkaila and walks straight up to you questioning,
"this is Mahkaila, she's a friend of (Y/N). This lucky duck has snagged a free ticket for the race, but i think i already know shes only here to see me race," you say winking at William so Mahkaila couldn't see. William shakes his head and turns back to Mahkaila,
"its lovely to meet you Mahkaila and listen, if Chase is a douche just let one of us know, we'll sort him out," William smiles at Mahkaila who smiles back at him and then he looks at you giving you daggers and holding it for a few seconds before laughing and turning to pack his bag.
The whole time, Kyle was just minding his own business and laughing at William joking with you shaking his head.
"Wow thanks guys!" You start laughing and leave back through the door you both came through.

You start walking and look down at Mahkaila cringing,
"what's up with you?" Mahkaila shakes her head,
"nothing, i just really cant stand Larson," you cant help but laugh.
"So what do you think of William and Alex then? I already know you love me," you say to her smirking, she doesn't look at you too see the smirk.
"Honestly... I love them both too, but they aren't Chase Elliott," you seem relieved she added that last part but feel yourself going red.

Just then, you walk into a room nearby that was filled with old car parts, fire suits and other bits of clothing from previous drivers, you watch Mahkaila look around.
"Pretty cool huh?" You, pretty much doing the same as Mahkaila at this point,
"heck yeah!" You both look around for a few minutes and you lead Mahkaila back out of the room and go sit outside on a bench.
"How are you feeling about the race?" Mahkaila looks up to you smiling,
"not too bad really, wish i could spend more time hanging out though," you fake a smile, deep down your nervous about the race like you always are before a race.
"You look kinda nervous to me, i should know, i hate peopling remember? I'm always nervous!" You look Mahkaila in the eyes,
"i mean yeah, I'm always nervous before a race but i don't let people know that, they'll see it as a weakness." You stand up and nod your head for Mahkaila to follow, she gets up and you put your arm around her and walk back inside into (Y/N)'s office.
