Part 36

Your POV

You walk around the building looking everywhere for Will, you bump into Oliver. Oliver seems to be ok now, he doesn't bother with you all much but when he does, he's fine with you all... he's still with Chase's ex too.

"Hey, you look flustered. Everything ok?" He says to you stopping you in your tracks.
"I'm fine, I'm just looking for Byron, have you seen him?" You ask him looking up at him, he shakes his head pulling a face.
"Not for a while... have you tried out back?" He suggests and points to the back of the building, you shake your head and thank him before walking to check out back.

You go out the door and see him sat on his own on FaceTime, you walk over slowly hoping the call will be over before you get there. He looks up and sees you walking over and puts an end to his conversation before hanging up.

"Hi (Y/N)..." he says sounding really deflated, you look at him confused.
"What's up? You sound... down?" You ask slowly sitting beside him on the bench, he shakes his head and puts his phone in his pocket and just looks ahead.
"Come on, talk." You say waiting for him to start talking.

"Have you ever been in a long distance relationship?" He randomly asks, you shake your head and look at him confused.
"My girlfriend has decided shes having a gap year, you could say... she's going to Europe. She only told me a couple days ago, she's at the airport now. I'm pissed, should i be pissed? Like, why didn't she tell me sooner? I haven't even said bye!" He explains and you sit in shock, you hurt for him, but feel some kind of relief at the same time.

"I mean... I'd be pissed too honestly, that's a bit of a dick move!" You start getting a bit mad about it and he laughs at you.
"Dont get angry, you're like a dragon when you're pissed... I don't really know what to do. I feel like I've just been used." He says looking down after he stops laughing at you.
"Well, are you willing to make it work? Or, would you rather you have someone with you, like actually in person?" You ask tilting your head, he looks at you and shrugs. You put your hand on his arm and squeeze it, he looks at your hand and smiles.

"You're coming with us anyways, you could do with a distraction. Food and drinks, lets go!" You say pulling him up, he starts walking and you jump on his back and he starts laughing.
"Like old times! Hey erm, sorry for not wanting to be your PR, its not you... i promise. Things might change though, who knows." You whisper down his ear, he only nods. You wrap your arms around him still on his back and rest your head on his back.
"Ive missed this..." he mumbles quietly, you smile. You jump off his back when you get to the door and walk out and over to the cars.

"How we getting to wherever we're going? Could stay at my place? My mom could drive... some of us?" He laughs saying this realising there's too many of you. You all agree on a way of getting to a restaurant after a short while.
"(Y/N), you want the GTR?" Will asks you, you look at Alex and he nods, you cant help but smile and snatch the keys from Will and get in his car. They all laugh at you rushing to get in and you start revving the car laughing to yourself.

Before long, Will gets in the car with you and you set off, you go straight to Will's house.
Will puts his music on and obviously Imagine Dragons comes on, you shake your head laughing and then start singing along to it, Will's quiet the whole drive to his house.

You get to his house and go sit down and get comfy, he brings you a drink and goes to see his mom and asks her for a lift.
Alex and Mahkaila turn up in Alex's truck without Chase, they explain he's meeting us for food so we can get in one car. You all get ready and set off out in Will's moms car. She mostly just chats to you and Mahkaila the whole drive.

A couple hours later...

You all sit and eat your food and have a few drinks and chat.
"Guys, what's everyone doing for Christmas? I know I'm super early but..." you ask shrugging.
"I'll be with my mom, probably go see some family. Be nice to see you guys too?" Will says.
"I'll be heading home to see the family, Chase, you're more than welcome to come too?" Mahkaila says, Chase's face drops.
"Oh... i don't know what I'm doing then. Probably spend it with Will after some family time myself, or Ryan?" He laughs, trying to shrug off Mahkaila going home.
"I'll be spending it with my family and you?" Alex says looking at you tilting his head.
"Um..." you don't know what to say. Alex shakes his head and his face drops too.
"You're going home, aren't you?" Alex says looking at you still, you look at him and nod.
"Well... looks like i might be spending my first Christmas in England then!" He says and looks across the table shrugging, you quickly turn to look up at him and smile.
"Really? You'd come over for Christmas?" You ask him shocked, he nods.
"And New Year, why not!" He shouts and puts his arm around you.
"Aww that's actually so cute!" Mahkaila shouts in awe.
"You guys are all welcome, i can find somewhere for you all... even if its just New Year?" You suggest to them all and nobody says anything, they just shrug. You know they probably wont anyways but thought you'd offer them a place to stay anyways.
You all sit and chat for the rest of the evening and have a few drinks, even sing a few songs.
