Part 37

The evening of the banquet...

Mahkaila POV- continued

You and (Y/N) get ready together and have someone do your hair and makeup and then meet the boys downstairs in the hotel.
"I feel sick, nervous sick, should I feel like this?" She says to you taking a deep breath.
"I feel the same dude!" You say back and both laugh nervously whilst in the elevator.
The door opens and you both walk out slowly.

Your POV

You see the boys as soon as you walk out, Chase is already facing you both and you watch his jaw drop before telling the other two to turn around. They both turn around, Will smiles and looks down awkwardly, Alex's walks right up to you biting his lip.
"Wow. You look beautiful!" Alex says to you, you smile before thanking him. He holds his arm out for you to grab and you walk over to the seating area. Chase goes up to Mahkaila doing the same and you all go sit and wait for your ride. You sit down beside Will and Alex goes to talk to Chase and Mahkaila.

"You look amazing, (Y/N)." He nudges you smiling.
"I guess you scrub up well too!" You say smiling back to him, he pulls a face at you.
"Wow, offended! Took me all day to look this good!" He says laughing, you shake your head.
"Shut up you goof ball! You look handsome and you know it!" You smirk at him and watch him blush.
"Our rides here! Lets go!" Alex shouts and you all get up and go outside getting a ride to the banquet.

You walk into the building and get photos taken, you get some with Alex, Chase and Mahkaila get some together and then you get one of you all. Will gets a couple on his own and you all watch feeling sorry for him, until Alex nudges you forwards.
"Go on, i know you want to." He says smiling at you, you smile back and walk over to Will and put your arm over his shoulder,
"You looked lonely..." you say and he turns to face you smiling. You take your arm back and he puts his arm around you getting some photos together and you both wave for Alex to come over and then get one of the five of you in before heading through to find your seats.

You sit through the awards and all try to look surprised when Chase wins most popular driver. You all sit the rest of the evening eating and drinking and chatting to everyone, you mostly stick with Mahkaila the evening though, seen as though you barely know anyone there.

After a while, you all head back to the hotel. You feel the drink go straight to your head as soon as you step outside and you stop dead in your tracks and take your shoes off, Mahkaila turns to you and laughs straight away.
"And that is our sign that she is drunk!" She shouts laughing as you stand back up with your shoes laughing at her.
Alex holds you up and takes your shoes carrying them.
"I'd offer to give you a lift but you're in a dress and i don't want everyone looking..." he whispers to you as you all start walking, you giggle to yourself.

William POV

You walk ahead of (Y/N) and Alex with Chase and Mahkaila.
"You looked great tonight too, Mahkaila. Sorry, we haven't really spoken tonight." You say to her as you walk beside her, she smiles.
"Aw, thank you Willy b! You looked great too!" She says back to you nudging your arm.
"So Will, what did you think of her then?" Chase asks you nodding his head back gesturing at (Y/N), you look back at her and then turn to face him and notice him and Mahkaila smirking.
"She looked amazing, i already told her that." You say with a shrug.
"Just amazing?" Mahkaila asks smirking at you, you roll your eyes at her.
"Yep..." you reply awkwardly biting your lip as you look away.

You all stop and wait for her and Alex to catch up and then start walking again.
"I cant wait to see these photos!" Chase says as he pulls Mahkaila closer to him and kisses her head. You cant wait to see them either, especially the one of you and (Y/N).
"Bet Will cant either! Especially the one of him and (Y/N). Although, thats gonna be awkward if it gets posted on socials!" Alex says smirking before his face drops. Thats the point you realise too, that things could get awkward. You shrug it off, you don't care what people say or think.

You all reach the hotel and go up to your rooms.
"Hey! We should all get a selfie before we change! Everyone get in!" Mahkaila shouts holding her phone up, you all quickly lean in to take a goofy photo and head off to get changed into comfy clothes and all agree to meet back at Alex and (Y/N)'s room for drinks.

You walk down to your room which is a little further down from the other guys. You get in and take your shoes and suit jacket off and flop onto the couch.
