Part 6

(Y/N) POV

In the morning you get woken up by someone banging on your door, you barely wake up checking your phone to a lot of missed calls from Alex and Chase and realise you slept in to go pick up Mahkaila from the airport.
"Shit! Coming!" You run and open the door to Chase and Alex and invite them inside, they come in and sit down on the couch while you get dressed. You laugh at yourself getting dressed falling over your own feet and again trying to put socks on.
"You ok in there?" Alex shouts through laughing after hearing you banging around, you laugh back and continuing rushing.
Once dressed, you all run out to the truck and Alex drives, Chase claims the front seat and gets in.
"How come you decided to come?" You ask Chase with a raised eyebrow.
"I wanted to surprise your friend, she's cute, i wanna meet her sooner!" He shouts turning round to look at you smiling.
"She's gonna freak! Ive not even met her in person yet you know," Chase looked at you and rolled his eyes,
"fine, you can see her first and I'll wait in the truck or something." He says and sits back in his seat crossing his arms.
"Good boy!" You laughed at Chase pulling a face at you.
"So umm... you two. What's going on?" Chase says looking back and forth between you and Alex.
"Dude! I don't know, we're just cool ok?!" Alex sounded a little agitated by Chase and Chase turns to you smirking. Alex looks in the mirror at you, you shrug your shoulders and look out the window shaking your head smiling to yourself.

Before long you are at the airport and you all get out to go meet Mahkaila, Chase stays outside at the truck and you go in with Alex. You see her walking out and wave, she walks over to you and you both hug each other.
"It's so nice to see you in real life, oh my god!" You shout giving her a huge smile. Mahkaila seems very shy and just gives you a smile back not saying anything.
Alex comes over and says hi giving an awkward hug and she nervously says hi back to him, you ask if she's excited and she nods. Alex grabs her bags being the gentleman he is and heads to the door, you walk behind Alex with Mahkaila.
"I know where your looking," Mahkaila says nudging you, you both laugh and Alex looks back at you both and shakes his head. You get to the exit and stop Mahkaila.
"Listen, i got a surprise for you. Its in Alex's truck," you both walk out to his truck and the door opens and out steps Chase, you and Alex look at Mahkaila and start laughing,
"Surprise!" Alex shouts. Mahkaila just stands frozen and starts crying.
"Hey don't cry, I'm not that bad!" Chase shouts and rushes over to her and hugs her. You smile and look up at Alex and he puts his arm around you on your shoulder,
"you did good, wish i had a friend like you," he takes his arm from your shoulder and gets in the truck, you get in too this time in the front with Alex, leaving Chase with Mahkaila talking.

"About what Chase was saying earlier..." Alex was cut off by Chase and Mahkaila getting in the truck. You look at him confused for a brief moment and shrug it off seen as though he didn't say anything else, it can't be that important you think to yourself.
"Hey Al, can you put some Eric Church on or something?" Chase asks sounding bored, you grab Alex's phone gesturing for it first getting the nod of permission from Alex to use his phone,
"do you even know Eric Church, (Y/N)?" Chase asks you as you put on 'Rock and Roll Found Me' and look up to see Alex looking at you with wonder in his eyes as well.
You sing pretty much the whole song noticing Alex look at you smiling and laughing a few times and also noticing the surprised look on Chase's face. Mahkaila sat laughing in the back at Chase's reaction to you knowing the song the entirety of the song.
"I stand corrected, apologies (Y/N)! If we ever do karaoke, i claim you!" He laughs and hits your arm. By the time the song had finished Alex had pulled into HMS parking lot. You all get out and go inside.
"Hey Mahkaila, come with me I'll show you around, I'm sure William will be here too, and maybe Kyle," Chase grabbed Mahkaila's arm and took off down the corridor. You laugh at the face she pulls when she hears Kyle's name being mentioned.
