Part 32

Your POV

You feel his hand move under yours and quickly look up and watch his eyes twitching.
"I think he's waking up, I'll call you back!" You shout down the phone quickly hanging up and moving closer to the bed.

"Where am i?" Will says with a raspy voice, you squeeze his hand and he looks at you and smiles.
"You're in hospital Will. Do you remember what happened?" You ask him and your face drops.
"I took... you're leaving us." He stops himself and remembers what you said. You stand up shaking your head and stroke his cheek, holding his face.
"I'm not going anywhere yet, ok!" You say sternly and he nods.
"Why did you do it Will? Was that the reason?" You ask letting go of his face, he shrugs and turns away from you.
"Will? What's up?" You ask concerned, you hear him start sniffling and know straight away he's crying.
"I don't even know whats wrong at the minute, just hearing that all this drama with my ex is making you want to go back, it just killed me! Its my fault, all of this is! In fact, i don't even know why you're here! Just leave me! Go!" He shouts at you crying more, still not turning to look at you.
"Hey! I'm not going anywhere!" You shout back, confused but a little hurt he just spoke to you like that.
"You're only here cause Alex lied for you to come!" He shouts back, you stop and think about it, you know he's right, but you'd still have made it here regardless.
"Shut up Will." You say shaking your head looking at him, he still doesn't look at you but he continues to cry. You jump up and sit on the bed beside him putting your arm under his head and he turns to face you resting his head on your chest, you play with his hair as he cries into you.
"I'm sorry." He mumbles, you smile and kiss the top of his head.
"I know you are. Now relax, I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here. Always!" You say to him and he puts his arm over you, hugging you.
You sit like this for a while and he falls asleep.

Alex, Mahkaila and Chase walk through the door soon after and see him snuggled up to you fast asleep and you playing with his hair.
"Don't mind me... I'm on girlfriend duty!" You say giving Alex the daggers, he smiles and walks over hugging you with one arm and kissing your head.

The guys find themselves a seat and get comfy and you all chill out and chat, William sleeps right through all the chatting and laughing.
"We're gonna go get a drink, you want one (Y/N)?" Mahkaila and Chase get up walking out, you nod and they both leave to get a drink. You're left with Alex now and William who's still asleep.

"Why did you say i was his girlfriend? His mom apparently already loves me! You can explain this to her!" You say raising your voice a bit and quickly hold your mouth after Will moves.
"You love him, right?" He asks you from the bottom of the bed, smirking. You pull a face and shrug,
"you know i do, but not like that, i got you!" You say tilting your head at him, he shakes his head.
"Be with him then." He says to you giving you a slight smile, you shake your head this time.
"Alex, no! Where's all this coming from?" You feel your heart racing now, confused.
"Look at him. He did this cause he loves you, he doesn't want to lose you!" You just shake your head at him huffing.
"I'm fine with just being friends." He stares into your eyes with a straight face.
"Wow, you're fine with us just being friends, did you really just say that?! Has us meant anything to you?!" You shout at him, waking William up and he moves off you. You get up walking out of the room, storming past Mahkaila and Chase as they are about to walk back into the room.

You walk down the corridor trying not to cry and go sit outside on a bench leaning over putting your head in your hands and the tears start.
You feel someone sit beside you and put their arm around you pulling you close to them hugging you, you don't look up until they start talking.
"Hey, come here! Alex just told me what he said, i understand where you're coming from, but I'm damn sure he didn't mean it that way. Don't get upset, please." You look up to see Chase before leaning into him, you sit like this for a minute before moving.
"Thanks Chase." You say smiling at him, he passes you a tissue and smiles back.
"You know, its nice to be able to talk to someone and know there's gonna be no drama to follow." You say as you look down at your feet taking a deep breath.
"I guess you're right, but would you change them?" He says raising an eye brow at you, you look up at him and shake your head and both laugh.
"Exactly! You kick ass anytime there's drama anyways, i love that!" He says smiling and looks down, you smile and nod to yourself looking away.
"I can promise you now he didn't mean it, he loves you, I've never known Alex be like this with any girl. He's changed since you came along, don't mean that it a bad way either! He's a lot more laid back now, you seem to have chilled him out, can tell he's in love." He says smirking at you, you blush a little and look away again.

You go back inside after calming down and see Alex talking to William's mom just outside of his room, Chase looks at you in the corner of his eye.
"Uh-oh," he says with a smirk, you hit him in his side and he goes into Will's room laughing.

"I lied to them about Will having a girlfriend so they'd let her in the ambulance with him. He's most comfortable around her, so i thought she'd be best to go. I'm sorry if you got your hopes up, i didn't think the hospital would call you considering one of us could have." You hear Alex say as you walk up to them, they both turn and look at you. Alex doesn't say anything, Will's mom smiles at you.
"Thank you, (Y/N). I was hoping you were the mystery girlfriend, not going to lie!" She whispers to you laughing, then turns to Alex.
"You're a lucky man Alex, don't let her go!" She hits him playfully on the arm winking and walks into the room laughing to herself.

Alex turns to look at you and you watch him take a deep breath then look down.
"I know you're pissed with me and you have every right to be. But, I didn't mean it like that and of course us meant something to me!" He gets closer to you holding your face,
"You mean the world to me, i don't know how to prove that just yet, but i will!" You smile at him and shake your head and he smiles back kissing your head.
"Come on, lets go back in." You say moving away from him grabbing his hand interlocking fingers.

You walk back in and everyone looks at you and you freeze.
"Are you two ok?" William asks, finally sat up and looking more alive, lets say. You look up at Alex and he looks at you and then both look back at Will and nod.
"Good! Now don't ever do that to her again, Alex!" Will shouts at Alex and smirks.
"Glad to see you back to your normal protective self." Alex says back and walks up to him hugging him. You and Mahkaila look at each other with puppy eyes in awe at them and laugh.
"You really scared us back there, Will!" He says as he steps back from him.
"Tell me about it! You guys didn't have to land a flipping plane though!" Chase shouts back rubbing his head, you all laugh at him except Will and his mom hugs him.
"I'm sorry dude, it wont happen again. I promise!" Will says back to Chase, then looks at you smiling.
