The next day...

Mahkaila POV

You roll wake up and roll over to realise your in bed alone, you sit up wondering where Chase has gone and he walks through the door with a drink and breakfast smiling,
"good morning beautiful," he says with a big grin, you yawn and smile in response.
"William's been in touch, we don't need to go to the office today! He's asked if we all wanna go gokarting though! He's gonna ask (Y/N) and Alex too, you up for it?" You look up smiling at him as he sits on the bed beside you also looking excited,
"only if you're ready to be beat by girls!" You laugh and he sits shaking his head,
"yeah yeah we'll see about that!" You both sit and eat breakfast in bed and then get ready.

You get your phone and message (Y/N) to see if she is going today too, she replies straight away "sure am! See you two love birds soon!😏" you cant help but laugh at her reply.
"You ready babe?" You hear Chase shouting from the door as you run down the stairs smiling to yourself... "babe, as if THE Chase Elliott is calling me babe!" You think to yourself running downstairs.

He smiles and you both head out and get in his truck,
"i said I'd pick them all up... hey listen, they will ask questions about us you know, are you ok with that?" Chase asks you reaching out for your hand while driving,
"its gonna be awkward and we're gonna get teased but, i don't care, i love you silly!" He smiles to himself not taking his eyes off the road. He keeps hold of your hand the whole drive to William's house. William gets in the car, he looks a little upset, like he'd been crying.

"Dude, you ok?" Chase asks as you both turn back to look at him before setting off, he shrugs and doesn't make eye contact.
"i guess so, just a little fight with the girlfriend, all good though. Anyways... you two! What's going on?!" He then suddenly sounds excited and looks up quickly, but you can clearly see the hurt in his eyes still. Chase turns around setting off shaking his head and you look at him and laugh before turning back to William,
"ok so..." you start explains before Chase cuts you off,
"she's my girlfriend!" William looks at you smirking,
"i wanted to ask last night but Alex and (Y/N) stole the show! I'm glad I'm first to question and hear in first person though!" You all laugh at this.
"I'm glad you guys are happy though." You smile at William and turn back around, you turn the music up and surprise surprise, its Eric Church playing, you smile and roll your eyes to yourself.

You get to (Y/N)'s apartment as her and Alex walk out, Alex opens the door and waits for (Y/N) to hop in first, sitting in the middle between William and Alex. Alex jumps in and closes the door and you, Chase and William turn and stare at them all with a little smirk, (Y/N) laughs and faces Alex hiding her face into his shoulder and Alex bites his lip so he doesn't laugh.
"You guys gotta talk, like now!" Chase shouts,
"yeah come on! Spill it! What the fuck happened?!" William shouts as well.
"Nothing..." Alex says raising his eyebrows shaking his head. (Y/N) turns around and looks at you and you smirk at her before shouting,
"girl, you need to tell me!" She laughs in response but keeps quiet.

"Ok fine! When i left you all, i drove home in pieces! I couldn't cope... then I remembered about the key I picked up... sorry... stole, from (Y/N)'s after all that with Oliver. I wasn't gonna let it end with a game of truth or dare! So I walked to her place and let myself in and waited for her." Alex says shrugging his shoulders, you watch (Y/N) grab his hand and give her a smile, genuinely really happy about them.
"Then what happened?" William questions eager to know, you shake your head hitting him on the leg, Chase laughs,
"but seriously, what happened next?!" You turn to Chase shaking your head hitting him too,
"what? We just wanna know what's going on!" Chase says to you laughing.
"I'm sure they will tell us when they are ready!" You shout at Chase and William shaking your head smiling.
Alex and (Y/N) laugh at you telling them off,
"thank you Mahkaila!" (Y/N) says grinning at Chase and William.
"But basically Alex seen right through me and... yeah. Now we're together," she says shrugging as Alex puts his arm around her.
