Madeleine;
The dawn breaks on the cookie kingdom, after yesterday's hectic events all the cookies involved where told to take the day off from there usual jobs to recover from the brutal battle and endless wanderings.
Madeleine didn't really like this.. though a small part of him did enjoy a bit of a lie in. The soft sheets in between his legs, the warm comfort from his blankets. It was enough to put anyone to sleep.
Soon enough,he rolled out of bed and went about brushing his long slinky blonde hair once more. Though his mind was distance... was he combed gently he couldn't help but think of espresso. He practically slammed the door on us! Yesterday... he thought, still he couldn't blame espresso. Madeleine was definitely not one to hold a grudge and was growing ever more worried about the mage has time slowly went on.
Perhaps... he pondered putting down his hair brush. I'll go visit him!!!. It was like the Eureka!!! Moment of a science problem, The idea alone put stamina in his step! Madeleine leaped up!! And out his daydream, With a smile he dashed for his amour and flug! It on as quick as he could.
And Out the door he went.. ( not locking it again mind you, don't think Madeleine ever locks his door. Even though he's supposed to be a Knight and all about safety)
He practically jumped right in the street! as the sun hit the fountain square, moving swiftly with a skip in his step and a song in his heart he headed for Espresso. Greeting cookies as he went by as usual. He went along until he bumped into a familiar pair...
" Ahhhh! Well, if it isn't the hero of the hour" mala sauce greeted him, with a slap on the back and a smile. " we heard what you and Gingerbrave did! While we we're on a wild goose chase!" She finished, " I CAN'T BELIEVE WE MISSED OUT ON ALL THE FUN" Gummy screamed as usual, by mala's side with her wicked smile. Her whole body seemed to radiate electricity! From her toes to her spikey pink tales. She was a steampunks dream....
Though of course Madeleine didn't take much notice of that... romantily speaking Madeleine hadn't really taken an interest in anyone... especially women. Thinking the thought through though he suddenly stopped! And went a bit pink.... thinking of romance did make him think of someone...
"ESPRESSO!!!!!!!" Gummy cried even louder then usual, it even hurt poor Madeleine's ears a bit. He had completely zoned out of the conversation.
Though not wanted to be rude, he just gave a polite nod and hoped for the best... "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" She wailed again... then again maybe Madeleine should of asked....
" RIGHT FROM THD JAWS!! OF A CAKD WOLF! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT MALA?" Gummy was fired up! Her grin growing wider to mala sauce " It's one of the spicist things I've ever herd" mala confirmed with a heroic nod. " ha! Even some of my great tribes pople won't of tried a move so bold!!!" She sounded so triumph! As if she had won the battel her self. Filling herself with such pride.
" Well.. ladies..." Madeleine trailed off looking over his shoulder and back to the path to espresso. " I have to go now..." He paused momentarily. Not wanting to hurt there feeling he quickly added " I'm on my way to check on espresso myself" with this he gave a smile and a head tilt. Mala gave a nod, while Gummy wasn't quite as quite....
As Madeleine tured away, after a few steps. She shouted after him " TELL HIM HE REALLY BROUGHT THE MAYHEM! FROM YESTERDAY!!!" This was actually a very high commitment. Especially coing from Twizzly gummy herself. Madeleine tured to give a wave to the two and departed with a simple " I will my friends! Take care!
