Espresso,
Real Time hasn't even caught up with espresso yet.. but as reality starts to sink back in for him. He realises that he's still being held my Madeleine so softly,and all eye's seem to be on him again.
Well... ( insert pg 13 word here) Espresso thinks, his face suddenly feels flushed from Embarrassment.. he doesn't know what to do... squirm free from Madeleine arms? Scream maybe? Hope that the world may swollen him whole?. Before he can even decide Gingerbrave is already speaking " best take you home to get some rest" with this he felt Madeleine start to move from his crouched down position. Espresso still in his arm's
" I can walk myself" He suddenly blurred out kicking his feet slightly, well that wasn't as dignified as he hoped for...
" but you're still hurt..." Madeleine pleaded, espresso looked up at the Knight. Who seem to be giving the mage these big, sparkly puppy eye's. This almost made espresso want to say yes....
WAIT!! what!! was he thinking!?! Absolutely not! Madeleine was not carrying him home!
" I'll be alright" He quickly reassured, wiggling enough for Madeleine to put him down on his feet. With a quick dust off, Gingerbrave spoke once more" Well.. let us atleast walk with you" He was also concerned for the mage and seeing how worried Madeleine looked eailer he thought it best to make sure espresso was safe.
Espresso didn't think, he just stared walking " oh alright...." He mumbled, the whole ordeal had left him quite flustered
Strawberry,
As the other's trailed behide espresso, Madeleine staying only a few steps behide the mage. Strawberry, pulled Gingerbrave back a bit slower so she could speak with him.." Emmmmm, Gingerbrave" she whisperd, pulling slightly on his arm.
Gingerbrave slowed down to walk by her side, and gave her a smile. " everything okay Strawberry?" He asked, "ehhhhhhhh, yes" she started her cheeks glowing slightly from blush.., " I... just... wanted to thank you.. for saving me" her face redend once more, Gingerbrave had a bit of a puzzled look but smiled warmly at her.
He could also feel his face getting slightly warmer, as he rubbed him head and looked away " oh... it was nothing.. that what friends are...." before Gingerbrave could finish that sentence he felt something warm on his cheek.
It was strawberry!, she has leaned over and kissed! Gingerbrave. Both there face's where red now. Strawberry quickly pulled her hoodie up to hide, while both in shock. Gingerbrave gave a nervous chuckle, he looked down nervously while reaching out his other hand to gently grab strawberries. " thank you strawberry..."
As there hands intertwined, strawberry peeked from her hoodie. To see Gingerbrave as always right by her side... but now there seemed to be a twinkle in his eye's. she felt his hand reach for hers.
What did i just do? She thought completely embarrassed, but seeing Gingerbraves warm smile and feeling his strong and soft hands in hers, Strawberry felt safe.... maybe she didn't have to hide at all? She thought confidently for once, clutching her hood with her other hand. She did something, she never had done before... she took down her hood completely and smiled back at Gingerbrave.
