When we arrived I felt sick cause you know in some of those fanfics of Harry Potter how he explains his first time using the Floo network the one i read it said something about his feet touched his ears then his ass and he almost lost his lunch... okay so that might be an exaggeration but it was weird so I just tightened my hold on him and took a deep shaky breath. What shocked me the most was when my ears stopped ringing I noticed that he to had held me tighter and apologized.. the devil Lucifer APOLOGIZED.
I finally let go and said " woah you should really have a sign with the causes of a ride like that."
Lucifer snorted and looked toward Chuck and says "can we keep her I'm keeping her." Grinning
"Lucifer you can't just keep her" Chuck said with a soft smile in my direction before continuing "if never seen him act like this before ever."
"Why?" I asked curiosity with that innocent tilt of my head.
"Because of you" was Lucifers response. Before I could ask him to explain it further he continues " you were treated horribly by your father but no matter how much you wanted to hate him you couldn't it just wasn't in you to hate him or anyone really, but something you probably didn't know but now you will the archangels angels and god all make rounds on the different universes well i happened to be in yours the first time I saw you was when you were about ten maybe you just got home from school you were sick you could tell it the teachers could hell even the kids could to but the thoughts going through your head were-" I interrupted him because I knew
"Cant cause trouble don't make it noticeable it will make daddy angry don't. be. weak." I sniffled
"Yeah also the thoughts of what your dad would do if it got worse and had to got to the hospital of how much money it would cost when you were just a kid you shouldn't have had to think about it. It was also supposed to be okay to be the sick not scared of looking weak just wanting her dad to hold her. But after that I kept coming back I don't know why it was just something about you i watched you grow up protecting your mom from every hit punch kick until you dragged her and your brother from the house after saving money from two jobs and locking him out of all the accounts and moving. So I told Chuck about you and he wanted to see for himself." Lucifer finished
"I was surprised when he brought this up because nothing really caught his attention instead of the game of thrones universe where he likes to play with dragons so I checked it out watched you whole life in a matter of seconds and while you did have disturbing thoughts of if you killed him would it be self defense but you would never do it would you?( I shake my head) see even though you thought that you knew you couldn't because if the police or judge decided it was not your family would have lost you. So you did the next best thing and ran." Chuck says
"Normally i would take that as a compliment but right now its not making me feel like i did everything i could have." I say putting my head down
"Why?" Lucifer asked
"Well there was always bits of pieces of our new house that looked a lot like something from our old one so anytime mom saw something she would cry and stare at it, i know the whole fight or flight risk thing, and i thought about it mentally is fighting my dad, who is high as a kite worth it, or do we just cut our loses, and that's what made me get another job go into stocks as well whatever money i made went toward a new house in a new town not to far away but just far enough away to get some distance, and we lived there for two years before well this happened." I explained
"Well its time to start explaining something but first we are waiting for someone." Chuck said
"Who?"i ask confused
Well while we were talking chuck speed up the time line to see what would happen to your family." Lucifer starts
"You stupid fucking idiot who told you it would be okay to beat dad over the head with a bat my stupid adorable smart brave sister." JJ says
"What are you doing here how did you die no YOU cant be dead absolutely not this unacceptable no what about mom?" I freak
"Dad got out on good behavior was clean came and found us by found mom happy with our neighbor you know the widower that looks like Chris evans well he didn't like that so when whats his name?"JJ says trailing off
"Danny Moore or Mr. Moore to us he was the one i got into stocks when i noticed him making goo goo eyes at mom so y'all would be taken care of." I shuddered dramatically
"Sweetheart that was a bit dramatic." My mom says
"Momma?" I say turning to look at her tearing up a bit
"Hey my beautiful darling girl." She says with a soft smile that only a mother could give.
That was it i crashed in to her sobbing saying i was sorry over and over again. Then i looked over to my brother and held a hand out he took it i pulled him in to us.
"I'm so sorry i wasn't there but i did make sure that we were going to be okay financially." I said pulling a way a little.
"And physically." JJ said
"He found the folder full of the photos and his drug test text messages form drug dealers plus the document for a restraining order." Mom said
"Yeah i was meant to go to the station the day i was murdered by the bastard" i seethed
"Sweetheart its a mothers job to take care and protect her kids." Mom said
"No i mean yes it is but there are certain point in life that the kid or kids help the mother." I said somewhat sternly
"I know and I'm proud of you, so thank you sweetheart have you found out why we are here?" Mom asked looking toward lucifer and chuck
"Well we are offering you there along with Gabriel your mothers mate to be reborn into the vampire diaries..." lucifer starts
