"No..I..uh..really don't know how to ride a horse"
"Lady Hui, you should have forgotten it but you were the one who thought me horse riding" Yuri nagged holding the hem of my hanbok sleeve
"I.. i have never ridden a horse before i-"
"-it's alright Lady Hui I'll remind you"
My body froze when Prince Taehyung offered his hand for me to hop on his horse. It's not like it's the first time I'm holding his hands but it's just every time I do, it feels different, unique and tempting.
I stretched my hands to hold on him nervously but as always, Prince Taehyung was calm and composed.
"Hold it's crest and hop on" he said but I didn't even try to do anything. I just held his hand and the horse's crest, suddenly Prince Taehyung pulled me up.
My heart beat danced crazily. So crazily that everyone would have heard it. I adjusted my position and looked straight.
He leaned forward, his chest against my back, he held the rein of the horse and gave it in my hands. Our fingers brushed gently making me tingle. I turned to look at him only to realise his intense gaze was already on me. He smiled softly. He smiled. His smile. Damn.
For a second it felt like it was just us and no one else even though there were few soldiers, Yuri, General Jung and other maids
"Gently hit the horse" he commanded and did it along with me. I gasped and turned straight when the horse moved. A small happiness filled me. In this world of coldness, I smiled with pure joy. As if I've never seen a horse. I heard Prince Taehyung chuckle at my childishness.
"Now it's your turn. Ready?"
"YES" I said with the widest grin on my face and hit the rein once again. The horse walked a bit faster than before. I was completely enjoying it. An other hit and an other, the horse soon began to run. Prince Taehyung's hands were surrounded me as he was holding the rein.
He would pull the rein left or right side to make the horse move accordingly. It must have been a good 15 minute ride but it felt like it ended soon
We reached to an empty beach with watery grey mud. Prince Taehyung got down first and then helped me too. Yes i held his hand again.
"Please sit back and enjoy Lady Hui" Prince Taehyung said with a grin. I replied him with a grin too. He immediately turned and held the sword which was near his left hip.
One of the soldiers bowed and came forward. Prince Taehyung gently nodded and and took out his sharp, shining and breathtaking sword out of it's scabbard. Everything he does looks so perfect. The soldier ran towards him ready to attack. But Prince Taehyung tactfully defended himself.
The soldier twisted his sword and bent down, once again attacking Prince Taehyung. And this time i was scared as i stood shutting my mouth with my hands. But He jumped up, his hanbok dancing in the air, he turned his body and defended beautifully. He looks like a guardian angel.
An other soldier attacked Prince Taehyung from behind. But that couldn't defeat him. He is ethereal. He slid towards right when the soldiers attacked and the both ended up falling down.
