After what felt like eternity we are finally together.
Alone.
Hiding behind the depths of the forest with the chilly breeze mixed with sparkles of water from the water falls as i am laying on his chest, oh how much i want this moment to be frozen forever.
His long fingers that caresses my cheek along with his beating heartbeat that makes me feel loved and his sweet deliciously tempting smell. I missed him. So much.
The sight is beautiful but my Prince looks ethereal. I really want this to last forever but—
—i miss my grandpa, grandma and my brother
A sudden sadness fills me out of nowhere but why? I am happy here I have the love of my life right by my side. I found my father too can't I just be here forever? In my lover's arms?
"My love" he called me
My love— i am his love
Butterflies danced in my stomach making me blush
"What are you thinking?" His tone was soft and his eyes worried
I straightened looking at him "I miss my grandfather" i admitted
His eyes saddened as if a sudden pain struck his heart
"What's wrong your highness?" I asked cupping his face
"I am afraid I'd be the reason holing you back"
My chest felt tight I shouldn't have told him..
"You are not, my lord" I assured but he wasn't pleased I know. I could tell that from the way he looks
There was a deep silence before he spoke "Will you promise me to go back whenever you can"
My heart clenched. I don't want to lose him never but i also know I can not have him forever. It is a reality very hard to accept
I kept silent because I know I'd tear up. He looked at me with his beautiful eyes sad and worried before continuing "And i promise to find you even if it means for me to go beyond the moon, my love"
I didn't speak but nodded with a faint smile. He smiled back and I know he wasn't pleased but he knows how I feel.
"Alright" he inhaled as he spoke and lifted me by his arms-
"Prince Taehyung-" his one arm curling my waist and the other behind my knee I couldn't help but blush
"Sit here" he made me sit on a small rock and knelt smiling "let me capture the beauty of my lover"
I smiled back confused as he unpacked his scroll and a few brushes along with small bottles of colours
"Your highness are you going to paint me?" My voice excited
He chuckled "may I have the privilege my princess?"
I couldn't help but smile shyly "I want us to be together in the painting" i spoke
"Yes my lady I will make arrangements for your need" he smiled "but now smile for me sweetheart"
I smiled.
I kept smiling. More like admiring my lover as he paints. But there is a fear behind his smile. Oddly I could feel it. The fear of losing me forever.
That is the reason.
He wants to capture me before I disappear into thin air.
Some time passed, as he was painting I kept telling stories from my childhood. He smiled and laughed along with me as I was embarrassing my little self
After some more time he paused and looked at his painting proudly like a little cute boy
"Is it done?" I asked curiously and impatiently went near him
"Do you like it my lady?" He showed his scroll in which a beautiful, most prettiest painting was ever done
"You made me look prettier"
"This is you.. through my eyes my lady"
My heart melted. I sat by him resting my head oh his shoulder looking at the portrait "I love this my lord"
He chuckled as he kissed my forehead gently before saying "just like a painting, you are engraved in my heart forever my love"
