It feels forever to be just be sitting alone in the middle of nowhere along with mosquitoes biting me and weird sounds taunting me. The sun hasn't shined yet. And the moon is found no where. Thick clouds are hiding them all away
It is the last day to survive. I heated the lake water in the stone and kept drinking it to fill my stomach. I also plucked some wild berries and filled it in my hanbok
Just when I thought everything was going fine i heard a grunt of a wild bear. Fear drowned me. My heartbeat fasted and my breaths accelerated. My mind was completely fogged when i saw a brown bear finding it's way to me smashing all the shrubs and trees in between us

I said once to myself and ran without looking back after I dumped the dried leaves and twigs I collected before in the fire to make it big
I have no energy left. My head was heavy and all I could see was fog. I could hear the bear coming for me and everywhere i turn looks the same. I paused once to look for the bear but—
—it's claws cut my back open and i was pushed to the ground already. Is this the end?
I fell on my knees. I could feel the blood ooze out my body. Just when I thought it was over, an other cut landed on my back
I fell flat on the ground thinking it's really the end. I thought of my father, my mother and my brother. But then I thought of My Prince...I thought of someone who is waiting for me.
I can't die..i should survive.. at least to save him
The bear came near me and started sniffing. I held my breath as tight as i can. Not a single movement from my body even though i was dying of pain
The bear sniffed just for few minutes which felt like long long hours. After some time I couldn't feel it's presence anymore as I slowly fluttered open my eyes

I clenched my teeth in pain. I couldn't even move and inch. Blood keeps flowing from my back and i have no strength left
I slowly turned myself and sat up straight. I growled in pain but made sure i was quiet enough. I looked around weakly and it's all the same. Except for the scary bear. It's really gone.
I tried to move my fragile body and remove the inner skirt of my hanbok. With so much pain I slowly draped myself with it to prevent the blood. Flow. Pain and fear is choking me.
