"Your Highness" suddenly a voice cut me
Prince Taehyung smiled at me rubbing the back of my hand and turned to talk with him
"Uncle So" he grinned "how have you been?"
"What brings you here your highness?" He asked bluntly
Father is probably still angry. He didn't look at Prince Taehyung. Neither he looked at me
"Uncle So I've escaped the Palace for a while—"
"I am sorry your highness you can't stay here"
he didn't allow Prince Taehyung to even speak or explain himself but he declined his wish already
"Uncle So I'm well aware of what your thinking but—"
"You can't" he raised his voice as the maids and soldiers bowed in fear
I looked at them speechless and confused as I regretted confronting Father
"father please..." i spoke weakly "allow him to stay" i said as i bowed pleading
"You can stay here as long as you promise you won't talk with my daughter" Lady Hui's father said looking away
"Uncle So" Prince Taehyung looked at me in terror
"Take her back in" Father said and two of the maids pulled me in as I resisted as much as possible and suddenly He fell on his knees. Tears welled up but I couldn't dare to utter a word
"Let her go it's an order" He said sternly and the next second the maids let me free
"Uncle So please forgive me I won't bother you anymore" He said and stood to leave
Prince Taehyung no. I cried inside
I don't know what to do. I suddenly went and kneeled at Lady Hui's father's feet
"Father please..please father let him stay..he..he can't go back now" I begged but Prince Taehyung immediately tried to pull me up nodding a no
I looked at my father as he released a deep sigh before he spoke "You can stay in the warehouse few kilometres from here. I will assign my trust worthy soldiers and maids to protect you"
Tears of happiness slipped my eyes and i sighed in relief looking at Prince Taehyung
"I will forever remember your kindness uncle" Prince Taehyung said bowing
"Thank you father" I mumbled along with tear filled eyes as he turned his back and left

After 10 minutes of walking in front of lady Hui's father's room I finally went in gathering my guts
"Father?" I called him
He didn't reply me. He was sitting on the chair with his eyes closed
"I'm.. i'm so sorry father" i said with my head down
I feel guilty and ashamed. He's not even my own father but to him I am lady Hui... how bad he would have felt when his own daughter talks back to him because of a guy.
Flashback:
"Lady Hui.. do you know why your father didn't do anything when your mother was killed?"
"What do you mean?"
"There was no proof other than you" brother Jung spoke as my body stopped working "Mother and you found out that the King killed his wife. And the King thought.. only mother overheard his conversation"
"But why... why didn't i do anything?"
"Mother didn't allow you to do anything" he said looking at me "she told you to hide behind the curtains and leave only after everyone has gone"

He stood from his chair and came near me "my dear Hui" he spoke "how can I be mad at you?" he said and hugged me
As speechless as i was tears rolled down my eyes. Drop by drop making me guiltier and sadder. I hugged him back weakly and buried my face on his shoulders. Appa please forgive me.
"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything about your mother" he said breaking the hug
I kept shaking my head as I couldn't speak a word. Only tears kept flowing "it's my fault father I'm sorry"
