Authors Note

I've been getting myself into deep thought about this story and the last events within the 1D family.

I know my story is not a super well conceived one and that I'm pretty inexperienced on writing but, it's something that I've been starting to love, something that warms my heart when I just feel like the real world it's about to eat me alive (and that happens a lot of times). The feedback it's not huge, but still, thank you so much to all of you who been reading the story and leaving comments and votes (keep them coming). I just really hope that, despite my lack of experience, this story somehow will get you excited for more and more. I'll try my best to correspond your expectations. Because this story is yours.

About the last events ... When the news about Zayn came out I was in shock. And right after I just got myself on denial. I mean, after 5 amazing years of increasingly sucess, no one would guess something like this to happen.

But it did.

And now I just want to first say that I love all the five boys unconditionally. And I respect every decision they make. So I really understand when Zayn felt it was time to quit, so it could be a normal 22 year old boy, away from the spotlight.

After that post on Facebook I thought 'I bet Zayn's going to miss for a while'. But a few days after, it is said that Zayn is now working on his solo career with Naughty Boy (who I'll start by saying, I don't particulary like - my opinion, don't judge).

So my point is, I support Zayn, I'll always support him. He'll always be part of 1D. But I'm quite upset about the fact that he's now working on his solo career, when he announced the world he was now getting time to be a 'normal' boy.

What feels to me is that his decision was really rushed and made with not much thought on it. It makes me sad that such a strong band, lose a member because of an irracional decision. And I know I'm not the only one thinking like this right now.

So as I said, I got really confused about whether I should end or continue the story and, if I did continue, how would be Zayn's situation.

So I'll be continuing the story. I love writing and I have a lot of things to come in the story. Zayn will continue to be a part of the story as he will always continue to be a part of the band too. His presence will be slowly decreasing though. Not that he was to be on every chapter, no. This is mainly about Harry and there's a few more main characters. Zayn is not one of the main characters so his presence on the story is already less visible than the others. He will continue to be a common friend of Melissa and Harry and eventually even help on the unwind of the story (just saying, not revealing any secrets haha) but not as a fundamental piece.

After considering, this is what I feel that's right. Thank you so much to the ones who said to not quit my story. It really was a major factor for my final opinion.

And about Zayn, just want you to know this is my personal opinion. I love him and the boys, this was something I just felt like tell you guys.
