Melissa's POV
As we approach Times Square I feel like a little girl who's given the brightest toy on the store.
God, it's beautiful.
We struggle a bit to find a place to park and I anxiously shake my legs, waiting to get out and explore.
Harry is a lot more unconfortable now, running his hands through his curly hair over and over again. Noise is really not his thing. The confusion gets him some how anxious and cornered.
But even so, he wanted to come here, even though it's not confortable for him.
Maybe he's doing this for you Melissa.
Don't get too excited, my subconscious warns me.
We get out of the car and I'm quickly ahead while Harry stays behind, texting in his phone.
I stop on a street corner to wait a bit for him, and I take advantage to take a real look at him while he's busy.Harry is the type of guy that, for as much as you wish you could deny it, you're immediately and irreversible attract to him. His tall and muscled figure stands out on his black skinny jeans, and his grey t-shirt is tight against his torso. His hair falls in dark waves almost near is neck, rippling with the soft night breeze. But it's his eyes, an emerald green similar to a forest of evergreen trees that leave you breathless.
Noticing my stare he smirks, his eyes on mine as he approaches. He puts his phone in his back pocket and running a hand over his hair for the thousandth time asks. "Ready?"
"Born ready."
His phone rings non-stop and I stop on my heels. "Take it, it's okay."
Surprisingly he rejects the call and turns off the phone. "Not important for tonight."
It's in times like this one that I remember I've spent the entire day with Harry. And I can't understand how or why. Why was I so willing to skip work to be with him? How do we ended up talking about each other? And mostly, how are we still together? These question flood my mind and I can't find the damn answers.
We finally made it. Times Square.
I feel like I'm in a movie. The lights give life to a magical street, an intense sound of traffic fills the air. Lots of people walk here at night, and I'm surprised about the amount of stores and stands. People seem to walk casually, some just passing by, others like me, taking it all in.
Harry stuffs his hands on his pockets, walking by my side. "You look like a child."
"A happy child." I stick my tongue out and he laughs.
"Glad you're enjoying." Harry smiles, his eyes shining with the lights.
We're just passing by because it's getting late but I find myself wanting more time here. More time with Harry. This day was so good, so nice and refreshing. I was really in need of it.
"So now it's my turn to ask, what are you thinking about?" Harry asks, invading my mind.
I eye him. "I was just thinking about this day. I really enjoyed it."
Harry smile grows with satisfaction. "Me too."
"Thanks for kidnap me." I wink making his adorable dimples show up.
"Sometimes people need to be kidnap." He looks down a bit breaking our eye contact. "Even if just for a day."
"Well one day I'll kidnap you."
"By taxi?" He laughs.
"When I save enough money, I'll obviously buy my own car. Then I'll get you when you least expect it."
