It's six a.m and Sophia is already up. What the hell?
It's a miracle.
Something is going on for sure.
Curiosity drags me out of bed and I stand at her door, peeking inside. A mess of clothes is scattered around her bed and floor, shoes all over the place. She sits on the bed, her brown hair in a messy bun, throwing random pieces of clothing behind her and forming a pile of "ugly clothing" as she would say.
I'm figuring she's chosing an outfit, but what for? For work? She's always perfectly dressed and she never needs to wake up earlier to pick an outfit.
"Why are you up so early?" I try to not go straight in it. I know she has to go somewhere and she'll admit it.
"How could I've possibly woken you up if I wasn't making a sound?"
"Throwing shoes on the ground makes a lot of silence for sure." I smirk. "What's going on?"
"I'm just chosing some bits to wear." She picks an gorgeous floral dress and her faces screams a no and she tosses it on the "ugly pile".
"For what?" I pressure her. I'm guessing for who she's so stressed.
Liam.
"Okay look I have a date tonight and after work I don't have time to think about this so I woke earlier."
She looks adorable trying to hide her feelings. It's obvious that she's more than interested on Liam but being the stubborn girl she is, she'll never admit it.
"Liam asked you on a date?" I try to hide my smile.
"I was texting him later last night but I fell asleep and when I woke up to check on time he had texted me."
I'm happy for her. Truly. Liam seems a nice guy and it's more than time for Sophia to fall in love. She has never been a serious relationship type of girl. Not that she was some whore, with a different guy every night, she just never kept them for too long. She was always teasing me about Sean and how stupidly in love I was. Well, guess it wasn't that much of love if I'm here now. But Sophia has never put any effort on her relationships and seeing her stress about some clothes to a date makes me happy.
"I'll help you picking up an outfit."
"Really? No questions?"
"You'll keep denying the obvious so I'll pass that part." She gives me a warning but funny look.
"I'll admit it... I never thought I'd wake up so early for this." She half smiles, picking up some shoes and throwing them right after.
"That's not what I wanted you to admit."
"Jesus Mia, okay! I'm nervous about tonight."
"And why is that?"
"Because he's different."
"Now we're getting there."
"It isn't just you who gets dates with hot guys." She smirks.
"So Liam is hot?"
"Isn't that obvious?"
I laugh. I'm actually happy about this and kind of excited too. "Let's start to clean this mess shall we?"

"Hope you're feeling better now." Alex says when I bring him some manuscripts I managed before lunch.
"I am, thank you." I try not to be a weirdo, but all I can do is stare at Alex.
Alex is Harry's father.
