Seasons Greetings

It was a week before Christmas.
Nix was sleeping peacefully in their room. They were really happy at their new home. For Halloween, they got to dress up as one of their favorite characters, Yukio from Blue Exorcist. Jeff and Ben took them out for trick or treating first to keep it fun and so they could spend some quality time together. After, they dropped the candy off at the mansion then went to go scare the socks off of people before killing them. They used it as a training thing for Nix but also made sure they had fun with it as well. For thanksgiving, they got to help out with the turkey while the others prepared different parts of the meal. They watched thanksgiving movies with Sally and Judge Angels and make fun thanksgiving crafts with Helen and Puppeteer. Once the meal was ready, they got to stuff themselves with delicious food they helped prepare and went into a small food coma afterwards. Of course, Jeff and Ben took pictures throughout these special moments. They were just as happy as Nix were, being able to have a child of their own and raise them. Though it was a fun time, the situation with Nina terrified them to bits. They couldn't bring themselves to talk to her, let alone be around her. Clockwork, Toby, E.J and Red did their best to prevent anything bad from happening. They watched Nina and made sure she didn't ruin anything.
Currently, the four were coming up with ideas to help out Nix.
"Maybe..we can figure out where she's keeping the cat? And take Vex back for Nix." Toby suggested.
"No, that wouldn't work. She would just try to off Nix at that point and get rid of Ben." Red said.
"We could maybe try getting her to realize that it's wrong?" Clockwork said. "I mean, I know her. She isn't all that bad when she isn't obsessed. So deep down, she has to know that she's doing bad, right?" She asked.
"There's a chance it could work. But also, she might see you as an obstacle if it doesn't work." E.J said.
"Wait...I have an idea..but it's kind of crazy, but there's a shot it could work." Red said.
"What is it?" Clocky asked.
"How about we find her a new obsession? Someone who might actually like her back!" He said.
"I mean, it's something. It's crazy enough to work." Toby said.
"I know it is." Red said.
"Hm...how about we make em separate? Plan A- clocky talks to Nina, see if she can get some sense through her head. If it doesn't work, plan b will be finding her a new obsession." E.J said.
"Okay. We have to so this fast though. There's a week until Christmas and god knows that girl is stirring up trouble." Toby said.
Red nodded. "Before we do anything, we need to make sure these will work. Or at least have a chance. Now who in the mansion would have a close relationship with Nina?" He asked.
"Hm..she's really good friends with Jane. They hang out all the time when she's not so crazy." She said.
"Really?" Toby asked. "I would imagine she'd despise Jane for hating Jeff.." He said.
Clockwork shook her head. "Not at all, she respects Jane has her reasons for her hatred. They're practically best friends from what I've seen." She said.
"Maybe it could work." E.J said.
Red nodded. "I agree" he said.
"Okay, so when are we launching plan a?" Toby asked.
"Maybe..sometime today. When Jeff, Ben and Nix are out of the house." E.J said.
They nodded.
"I'll hangout with Nina and keep an eye on her." Clockwork said. "When the time comes, I'll talk to her." She said.
"Okay, for now let's just..do our thing." E.J said.
Everyone nodded and with that, they went to do their own things.

The two were sitting in bed, watching TV together. They were just having a relaxing moment together in comfortable silence. Moments like these were special to them. No nonsense or drama, they're just able to be together, free of stress.
"Hey, baby?" Ben asked.
"Yes darling?" Jeff asked.
"We should do something special for Nix, since it's their first Christmas with us." Ben said. "Like maybe..we can get them a couple chest binders for them..they don't show it but for the time they've been with us they seemed uncomfortable with how they were in general..and top surgery can be scary for some people and recovery for it is kind of a gross process..we don't even know if they want top surgery but until they figure it out, we can get binders for them, maybe some custom ones too if we can." He said.
Jeff smiled. "That sounds like a great idea. Maybe we can build gingerbread houses too, watch some shitty Christmas movies and go out for a walk to see all the decorated houses" he said.
Ben giggled "they're not shitty you asshole, they're cringy" he said, smiling. "It'll be so nice. I know I say it a lot but..I'm really glad we get to raise them.." He said.
Jeff kissed his head and held him. "Me too." He said softly.
The elf stretched and got up. "You know what? Let's go out and get gifts for them now! We can ask the others to distract nix while we're out" he said.
The other smiled and got up as well. "Let's get ready then and tell the others." He said.
Ben smiled and the two got ready together. They told a few others who were up to distract Nix as long as they could while they got presents and wrapped them. They wanted this to be the best Christmas nix ever had.
