Sherry's death was ruled as suicide. Apparently, she was depressed and devastated when she ended her relationship with her boyfriend. And it took a mental toll on herself, so she decided to end her agony by jumping off the building. That was the statement that were given by her colleagues when they were questioned by the police.

No foul play was recorded and all alibis were checked thoroughly. The police had to declare that the case was close and the preparation for Sherry's funeral service was underway. Jaehyun had her cremated as per the wishes of her parents who were arriving from California tomorrow.

Now that Jaehyun was missing a secretary, he became busy with work. On top of arranging for Sherry's service and her parents arrival tomorrow, Jaehyun was also securing deals for new projects. He would go home late because of back-to-back meetings. And I have noticed that he was paler and tired as the day goes by. Sometimes he had barely the energy to play with Obok or spend time with me.

On the fifth day after Sherry had died, I finally came up with a solution for my worry. I wringed my hands together as I await for Jaehyun's return. And replayed the dialogue that I have created in my head, hoping that Jaehyun will say yes to my idea.

When I finally heard the screech of the tires upfront, I immediately run to the front door to greet Jaehyun. I opened the door and watched him step out of the car with a small smile on his lips. "Welcome home, hon!" I greeted him warmly as he encircled one arm around my waist and gave me a peck on the lips.

"I'm home," he whispered and gave me a squeeze. "Have you been waiting?" he casually asked.

"Yes. Do you want to eat dinner?" I looked at the wall clock and saw the it was already past eleven PM.

"I'm good, I ate at the office. I'll just take a quick shower and let's get to bed,"

"Okay...I'll lock up," I smiled and gave him a kiss. I watched him trudge to the stairs and let out a sigh when he was out of sight. He looked tired again tonight, I thought as I made sure the security system was up and the windows locked.

Upstairs, I found him sitting on bed only wearing pajama bottoms. He had a hair dryer on one hand and it seems that he was taking his time drying his hair. "Let me do it for you," I offered as I took the hair dryer from his hand. I sat behind him and began drying his hair by flicking the dryer back and forth. "Jaehyun, hon. So I was thinking..." I started with my agenda for tonight.

"Hm?"

"So I was thinking, if you are okay with it. I can help you at work...you know I can do what Sherry was doing before. So maybe I can stand-in until you find a new secretary..."

"My....are you sure?" he asked, his eyebrows up in a slight frown.

"Yes...now that Mark is doing most of the work at the shop. I'm thinking of promoting him and get a few staff to assist him. I can just do the paperwork from time to time. Mark has been with me for a few years so I'm confident that he can get the job done,"
