Routine was simple for me, wake up, eat whenever I got hungry, checked the gas range before stepping out, attend my classes, do a bit of exercise whenever I feel like it, and get laid at least four times a week. My lifestyle was simple, like how I pretended it to be and I'd prefer it to be like that except for one teeny-tiny problem. Taeyong.
After our unexpected meeting, he seemed so obsessed to get to know me better. And the fact that he confidently told me that he was interested in me, right after we just met made me feel uncomfortable of sorts. But, I can't seem to avoid him, wherever I went I saw his face in the crowd silently watching me or throwing me a flirty smile. He started waiting outside my department building too, which irked the living shit out of me. Partly, because he was acting weird, and deep inside I started to like it.
"Brought you flowers, today." Taeyong greeted me with a bouquet of bright red roses in one hand.
"I can buy those myself, thanks."
"I made an effort here, so take it," he said after pushing the bouquet to me.
"What if I said no?"
"Then, I will scream that you are a heartless jerk for rejecting my feelings," he replied with a straight face.
Scared that he might just do that, I took the bouquet from his hand and walked away from him. I felt uneasy when everyone's eyes were on me as I briskly walked far away from his spot. The fact that he started showing up outside my department building was already causing a stir among other people and now he added fuel to the fire.
"Hey! Wait up!" he cried out after me.
"What?!" I sharply replied without turning around. I made a full stop and gripped the bouquet tightly in my hands, I was tempted to get rid of it but thought otherwise, in case he saw it while he was following me.
"Scared?" he asked me.
"Scared of what?"
Knowing that I won't turn to face him, he walked in front of me and looked at me straight in the eye. "That you might fall for me," he added with a smirk.
I pressed my lips together and furrowed my brows, considering my options between slapping his cheeky face or walking out, and I chose the latter. I let out a loud exhale and walked past him, I was silently reminding myself not to let this get under my skin. Today was the last day of my classes for the week and my weekend was free. I was expecting to have a great time and maybe great sex or two but he came by to piss me off.
"Hey! Okay, I'm sorry!" Taeyong called out again. He ran after me and grabbed my backpack so I was pulled back by force into his open arms.
"What the hell?"
