"Stop the car," Jungwoo said. His eyes staring upfront on the dark unfamiliar road as we go back to the private docks.
"Jungwoo, we are in the middle of nowhere. Let me ---"
"No! I want to get out of this stupid car! Now!" his voice was quivering in suppressed anger.
"Okay," I gave in. After the sudden appearance of Taeyong at the party, Jungwoo had asked me if we can leave right away. I didn't ask probe any further because I already knew the answer to my question. How can I blame him when I didn't mention about Taeyong all this time? Parking the car at the side of the road. I sat silently and made a side glance at him.
He unbuckled his seat in a rush and opened the passenger door. After that, he walked towards a small patch of wild bushes and retched up the few drinks he had at the party. I let out a small sigh and stepped out of the car as well before walking to his side to offer my handkerchief. "Hon..."I started as I patted his back.
"Since when?" he whispered.
"When?"
"When did you fucking know that Taeyong was my ex?" he repeated with irritation while pushing me backward.
"Mark confided in me. He told me that the probability of you not telling me about it is high. Please don't blame him, he did it so I can protect you. In any case, something might happen," I admitted.
"Mark?! That stupid shit should've mind his own business," he mumbled without taking the handkerchief in my hand. Instead, he used the back of his hand and wiped his mouth. "Tell me, are you playing me? Were you ever serious with me? Are you feeling good that you lied and conspired behind my back?" his voice were full of doubt and accusation which was understandable because of the situation.
Letting out a short sigh again, I leaned on the car hood and looked at him. I knew that if I attempt to get near him at his current state that he would just drift away from me. So, I placed a few feet of distance between us so we can properly see each other's reaction. "No, I didn't lie. Lying means I gave out a false statement to deceive or mislead you in any way. Which to my defense, I didn't." I pointed out calmly.
"Then what? Just what?" he yelled.
"I just didn't disclose my entire family tree,"
"And you didn't think to tell me about it?"
"And tell you what? Hey, Jungwoo. You've dated my step-brother and now you're dating me? After that time that you have a nervous breakdown? Do you think I'm that cold-hearted?" I asked him.
"Fuck!" he muttered to himself while tugging on his hair. "I fucked my cousin and now I fucked brothers? What the fuck is wrong with me?"
Hearing him blame himself made my heart twinge a bit. I didn't mean for him to find out like this. But no matter how I forced myself to calm down and understand him I somehow felt disappointed. Disappointed because Taeyong can still stir this amount of reaction from him when he was already dating me. "Does this change your feelings towards me?"
