"Kyojuro! Look at me do I look cute?!" Akaza beamed, running around the pillar's room wearing Rengoku's flame themed cape around his shoulders. It seemed the demon was experiencing a high since he had received so much blood from the other.

Rengoku laughed while bandaging up his arm, struggling to stay awake since it was very late. The demon grinned and jumped onto Kyojuro's bed, burying his face into the cape while nudging Rengoku in the shoulder to get his attention.

Kyojuro's cheeks became tinted with red as he looked at the demon snuggled in his cape "ehhh Kyojuro do you have a fever again?" Akaza eyes the male with interest. However the demon slayer just coughed and shook his head "nope, it's just a little hot in here"

Kyojuro wondered. What had made Akaza come to him in such an awful state, heck if Rengoku hadn't given him any blood Akaza may not have even made it. After all starvation for a demon can be seriously detrimental.

"Hmm would you like me to open the window Kyojuro?" Akaza smiled while popping his head out of the cape. Rengoku let himself laugh at the weirdly innocent behaviour "no it's ok, I'm alright" he gave the demon a soft smile "also don't forget to leave before the sun comes up, I'm sure you don't want a repeat of what happened yesterday"

Akaza groaned and nodded his head "yep yep, you're so bossy Kyojuro~" the demon teased by laying his head on Rengoku's lap and twirling the male's vivid head in between his blue tattooed fingers.

"I'm not bossy! Simply looking out for your wellbeing" Rengoku countered as he stared down at the other, Akaza raised a brow at his statement "oh really?~ but I'm a demon Kyojuro, why would you care about me?"

Rengoku turned away in denial. It seemed the pillar had not come to realise his feelings just yet.

"It's because of our deal... since you ain't killing humans then I have no reason to kill you" Rengoku made an excuse, although it wasn't completely full proof.

Akaza laughed "if I remember correctly, one of the demon slayer rules was to never spare ANY demon" Akaza put emphasis on the 'any' to get on Kyojuro's nerves; and it worked like a charm.

He scoffed at the accusation "so what, does that mean you want me to kill you?" Akaza scoffed in return, a smirk growing on his lips "like you could kill me in your condition anyways" he taunted while pressing the tip of his finger on Rengoku's injured stomach.

The pillar winced a little, the wound was still painful and the healing process was excruciatingly slow. "You're the one who did this to me"

Akaza rolled his eyes "you should be glad I let you live Kyojuro~ but then again if I had the chance to kill you then I wouldn't" he shrugged his shoulders in dismissal.

This reminded Rengoku, he had never asked the demon why he didn't kill him at the Mugen Train incident. Akaza had every chance to even afterwards. So as they say; curiosity killed the cat, and Rengoku just had to ask.

"Say... Akaza why haven't you killed me"

The demon looked at the slayer in question "you said my name? I thought you said demons are undeserving of a name?" He changed the subject purposefully.

"I said it earlier as well when you collapsed, you just caught me off guard is all" Rengoku had made yet another excuse. Akaza laughed aloud while looking out the window "I'll let you believe that... oh! That reminds me-"

Rengoku cut him off "you want more blood don't you?" He sighed, making Akaza beam "yes pleaseee~ since I have to go soon. The sun will rise in about ten minutes"
