Tanjiro kamado had been scouring every inch of Tokyo he could with minimal breaks, hardly any food nor sleep.

The demon slayer in training was beyond worried when he received the news of his mentor's disappearance and potential abduction around four days ago. He set off almost instantly on his own, ignoring orders from Okyata-sama.

Too caught up in his search for Kyojuro, the fiery haired teen ignored almost all his friends - with the exception of Nezuko obviously. He was simply acting off dumb instinct, rational thoughts flown out of a window in his mind.

The boy was currently in a small town called; Matsushima. It was roughly about a three day walk to reach the demon slayer corps again, or any means of food/health treatment.

So in his search, Tanjiro survived off mostly berries and shrubs he would forage in the forest. Occasionally he would get lucky and cook a wild animal over a little makeshift fire. Hell- meat tasted heavenly whenever Tanjiro got the chance to eat and rest by a fire.

Currently it was nighttime, around two am when Tanjiro finished asking around the townspeople for any signs of a; 'average height male with bright orange hair and a sword'

... as you can probably guess they thought he was crazy, scampering away from Tanjiro's desperate questions and avoiding him as much as possible while still getting work done.

So the eldest Kamado decided to leave. Following a small trail through the dense wood again, simply hoping that he would stumble upon something by fate.

"Caw! Tanjiro! Tanjiro!"

His crow; Matsuemon Tennouji. Has been following him for days now. Quite literally begging the boy to report back to the master, he ignored it every time.

Assuming his crow was trying to lure him back again, Tanjiro dismissed the bird and continued to walk. However what Matsuemon said next caught his ear.

"Message! Message from the water hashira! Tomioka Giyuu sends a message!"

'Giyuu-san?... he never sends messages'

Admittedly worried, the sun breather slowed his pace and let his exhausted crow catch up - letting him take a perch on Tanjiro's shoulder.

"What is it? It must be urgent if from Giyuu-san" Kamado asked calmly, curiosity gnawing at his core.

The crow took a few deep breaths, fluffing his feathers before beginning.

"He orders you to prepare for battle with a formidable foe! He needs help as fast as possible!"

Tanjiro's eyes widened "but... I have to look for Rengoku-san"

The crow slapped Tanjiro with the tip of his wing mid flap "The flame hashira is there! Tomioka needs your help, do not tell anyone else! Caw follow me, follow me!"

"R-Rengoku-san is with him?! Lead the way quickly!"

"Akaza-dono! You know I always love your company but destroying my home isn't satisfactory." Douma dusted himself off, kicking away a few pieces off concrete from his path towards Akaza's figure.
