"Alright that's enough of making me worry Kyojuro-san. You've really got a knack for it" Kocho sighed, packing away the last of the flame hashira's belongings.

The male seated quietly on the edge of the bed said nothing so she continued: "you know I was going to get either Senjuro or Shinjuro to come take you home but apparently there's been a bad flood in your town... no need to worry though. I'm sure it'll be fine by the time you come back." Shinobu turned around around to meet his eyes.

He looked.. empty again. Kyojuro had been like this for the past two days since finding him again. Heck it really was like trying to keep track of a stray cat, but at least now the flame hashira was ready to go home.

Kocho had discussed his condition with Tomioka. Luckily Rengoku would only forget snippets of past memories/experiences. Only a very mild case of amnesia, it was lucky really.

"Kyojuro? You ok with that?" Kocho handed the male his Kantana, just something as a little moral support. The one in question strained his head to look out the window, looking out into unfamiliar surroundings. Obviously different from before because they had changed locations entirely.

Kocho missed his heartfelt voice honestly... the overly positive attitude. Every member of the hashira did.

"... er- quite a few people offered to escort you back home. Everyone's been worried about you!" The lady tried her best to muster up any type of conversation possible, but it all seemed to be fruitless in the end.

"Are you hungry?"

"No, thank you though. I think I'll get going Kocho" Kyojuro announced out of the blue, standing up and taking his stuff from her small hands with a little bow "I appreciate what you've done for me." Rengoku bowed once more and took his leave, slowly walking down the halls till he was exposed to the cold rays of the season's changing temperatures.

Kyojuro though it a shame he had supposedly missed half the summer, but there really wasn't much he could do about it now. On his way out, the hashira was stopped by another person "Rengoku-san! Has Kocho-sama dismissed you?"

The pillar turned to meet Aoi's stern but caring eyes, her arms occupied with bundles of wet washing. Did this girl ever stop working? She did look rather tired.

Placing down his possessions, the pillar wordlessly shuffled his way over to the worker and grabbed half the washing; much to get surprise as a little gasp escaped her parched lips. "yes, i was just on my way home actually. My mother is probably worried sick"

Kyojuro was different, but Aoi was glad he was still as kind as ever.

"... I'm sure your mother will be glad to see you again Rengoku-san" the girl walked ahead of him, showing where to drop off the stuff and bowing gratefully when he did so.

"Be safe on your travels!" Aoi yelled as the hashira picked up his stuff again and gave a little wave before going off on his way. The girl sighed as he walked out of sight, going back to her duties before a delicate hand gently rubbed her shoulder.

"Oh! Kocho-sama! Everything ok?" Aoi exclaimed, calming her racing heart. Shinobu looked at her with a tinge of worry "what... did Kyojuro say to you?"

The worker raised a brow "huh? Er- something about going back home because his mother would be worried?"

The insect hashira downcast her eyes to the floor, hand falling away from the younger's shoulder "Kyojuro's mother is deceased.."
