*Flashback*
I walked down the hall with a sleeping Jason in my arms. I held onto him tightly while I follwed the nice lady down the bright white hall to a door at the very end.
I dreaded the moment I had to step through that door. I dreaded what was behind it, it would make it all real, that all of this actually happened. I didn't want all of this to be real, I just want to wake up in the morning and find that this is all a dream.
I must have zoned out because next thing I knew I was in front of the door while the nice lady doctor held it open for me. She had a gentle smile on her lips and she nodded at me, as if telling me it was ok to enter the room.
I could feel a slight cold breeze coming from the room I was suppose to be entering. I took a few deep breaths and finally took a step into the room, wrapping my arms protectively around Jason who shivered in his sleep.
I didn't like what I was suppose to do. It was unfair to ask a fifteen year old girl to do such a thing. A window sat ahead of me on the wall, nothing else was in the room other than a chair in the corner in case someone needed to sit down.
I didn't want to go up to the window. I was scared for what lay behind it. Scared of the truth of it.
I took another deep breath and finally stepped up to the window. Behind it lay two metal slabs, a cloth like blanket covering two lumps, one on each of the slabs. Another type of doctor was beside them, waiting for his cue.
The doctor beside me looked at me, waiting for my approval. I nodded reluctantly and she nodded at the other doctor. I held my breath as the other doctor moved the cloth blanket down off the faces of the bodies that lay underneath.
I gasp in terror at the sight in front of me. Two bodies-one male, one female-lay side by side both burned and looking ugly from the car crash. The two bodied were those of my parents that died in surgery early today. I had been called down to identify the bodies since they haden't had any IDs on them.
I cried out and clung onto Jason as he woke from me crying. I moved away from the window before he could see the horror that lays beyond it. He was too young to understand fully, only to know that they won't ever be back.
I ran out of the room and down the hall with Jason in my arms. I never wanted to see that again, never wanted to be here again. I would never return to such a place, they failed to save my parents, they'll fail to save me and my brother.
*End Flashback*
Dean held me tight as I told him my story.
"I'm so sorry," He said softly. "I never knew."
I sniffled and wiped the tears from my eyes.
"Its ok," I said. "But I won't go back to a damn hospital."
He nodded.
"Ok, ok," He said. "We'll find another way."
"I can tell you," A new voice said.
Dean and I looked up to see Cas standing there looking down at us.
I climbed out of the pool and stood in front of him. Dean followed and stood beside me.
"You can tell us if the baby is ok?" Dean questioned.
Cas simply nodded and pressed a warm hand to my belly. A soft yellow light elluminated from his palm and a warmth spread over my torso.
"Its fine," He said, keeping his hand there.
"Good," Dean sighed a breath of relief.
"Cas," I said, noticing the look on his face. "What's wrong?"
