"Las Vegas?"

"This is what you had in mind?" I questioned, getting out of the Impala to stretch my legs.

Jason followed me, looking around and then up at the sign.

"Las Vegas?" Jason asked.

After a nine and a half drive from Silverton, we arrived in non-other Las Vegas, Nevada. It was currently three PM and we were stopped under the famous sign of Vegas.

"Of course you picked Vegas," I said throwing my hands in the air.

"What?" Dean asked innocently, a glint in his eye. "I figured we should go somewhere they wouldn't expect and who would expect us to come to Vegas?"

"Me," Sammy and I said simultaneously.

Dean scoffed and waved his hand dismissively.

"Ok, yeah, sure, you guys would but why would they? I have all you with me and we usually are in small towns where they'res murder mysteries. There is no case here and its a big city full of people, whats not to like?"

"That its a big city full of people," I said, my voice flat.

Dean came up to me and slung an arm around my shoulders.

"Ok, ok, I know you don't like big cities and all, but its just for a few days so that we can lay low," He explained. "Just a little relaxing break to calm any nerves or anything. Its Vegas, what could go wrong?"

His smile was wide and his eyes were alive with a fire. I didn't want to dampen the mood, but...

"Oh yeah, what could go wrong in a big city full of rude people, alcohol, horny women who don't know how to fully dress, and gambling machines everywhere you look?" I asked sarcastically.

"Ok, party pooper," Dean said in my ear. "Get your panties out of a twist and enjoy some time with your brother."

Before I could register what he said, he pinched my butt and laughed. I smacked his stomach and went back over to the Impala, getting into the drivers seat.

"What do you think you're doing?" Dean asked, coming up the drivers side door.

He leaned down in the open window with a questioning look in his eyes.

"Come on Dean," I said grinning. "Get your panties out of a twist and enjoy the ride."

"Don't use my own words against me," He said slowly.

"Hmmmm, looks like I already did and you left the keys in the ignition, so get in," I said, satisfied.

Dean grumbled something under his breath and got into the back with Jason since Sam was already back in the front seat beside me.

"Ready?" I asked, looking in the rear-view mirror at Jason and grumbling Dean.

Jason nodded enthusiastically while Dean just stuck his tongue out at me.

Real mature, I thought.

I pulled on my sunglasses and drove off, back into the traffic and sped off. Getting into the heart of the city, I started looking for the first hotel with a pool. If I'm going to have to stay in the deadly weather with my little brother, we shall stay in a hotel where there's air conditioning and a pool for swimming.

Finding one easily, I pulled in and parked.

"Wait," Dean complained. "We don't ever stay in hotels."

"We do in Vegas," I said, getting out.

"Why?" He asked, following me.

"Because its hot as Hades and I'm not going to suffer just cause you decided to stop here," I said, stepping into the front office.
