I ran towards the sound, my adrenaline pumping with fear with what could have happened. Everyone covered in blood was the first thing racing through my mind. I knew it was crazy for that to have happened in such a short time and me not hearing anything, but it still scared me.

I knew Jason was right behind me, following me, and probably scared and worried. I knew if something bad I was happening I couldn't let him get hurt or in the middle of anything. The two of ran into the house and I immediately stopped and turned around. I grabbed Jason's shoulders and looked him in the eye.

"I want you to hide in this closet," I said, opening the hall closet that was next to us.

"I want to help though," He whined.

I shook my head.

"No, not today," I said to him.

The emotion in my voice must have stopped him from arguing because he wrapped me in a quick hug and went into the closet.

"Be careful," He told me before I shut the door.

"I'll be right back," I told him, closing the door.

"ASH!" I heard my name being yelled again.

I recognized it as Dean's voice and he sounded in trouble.

I raced towards where I heard his voice come from, taking me upstairs.

"Ashley, hurry, I need help!" He yelled again.

I didn't notice that he was calling me towards the danger instead of trying to get me away from it like normal. I didn't notice the absence of Sam, Bobby, and John. I didn't notice any of that...not until it was too late.

I opened the door to the bedroom that Dean and I were staying in to see him tied up to a chair. Without thinking, I rushed over to him and started untying the rope.

"What happened?" I asked.

He didn't answer.

"Dean?" I asked, crouching down in front of him, finished with the rope.

He suddenly wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly.

Confused, I hugged him back. I still didn't notice that he wasn't acting the way he normally would if he had just been attacked by something supernatural. If he had been tied up, he basically struggles until he's released and then jumped out of the seat, he would have been cursing and pacing, then ran out to try and find what did it to him. He wouldn't have called me towards the danger, ever.

What I did notice was his smell. I took a deep breath and noticed that the smell of his cologne was faintly on his clothes and that under the cologne was a gross smell of rotting garbage. I pulled back and took a few steps away from him.

"Ash," He said,

I noticed that his voice sounded monotone, lacked the usual emotion and tone.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asked, taking a few steps towards me.

I kept backing away from him, knowing it wasn't him. I don't have any weapons on me and I'm still slightly weak from being in a coma. My back hit the wall, I had nowhere else to go.

"N-nothing," I stuttered.

He shook his head.

"I don't believe you," He said, advancing slowly.

"Dean, I promise," I said, voice shaky. "Why would anything be wrong?"

He stopped directly in front of me, eyes glancing up and down my body. I shuttered in disgust, this definitely wasn't my Dean.
