Family Remains

"Hello?"

"Wow what?" I asked him.

"W-what?" Dean asked, seemingly to snap out of what ever he was in.

"What did you just 'wow'?" I asked again.

Dean shook his head, clearing it or trying to think of something to say, I don't know.

"Nothing, nothing," He finally said a moment later.

I shook my head slowly and sighed.

"What did you guys find?" I asked looking at Sam.

He turned slightly in his seat and looked back at me.

"No EMF readings, no sulfur, no one reported seeing anything weird, no nothing," He explained.

"So, these really were just accidents?" I asked.

Sam shook his head.

"I don't think so," He said.

"Why not?"

I looked over at Dean to see he had this far away look in his eye and a smile on his lips. I slapped him upside the head for a second time today and looked back at Sammy when Dean jumped.

"I think I found a common link between all the victims," He said.

"Which would be?" I asked.

"They were all raising to fame," Dean spoke up.

Sam and I both looked at him.

"So you were paying attention?" Sammy asked, sounding like he didn't believe him.

"Of course I was," Dean said. "Why wouldn't I?"

"Oh, maybe it was because there were half naked woman running around?" I asked.

"And all you were doing was drooling over them," Sammy added.

"Oh was he now?"  I asked just as Dean slapped Sammy.

"Was not," Dean glared at Sammy.

"That was good information, thanks Sammy," I said with a smile.

"Like I was saying," Dean grumbled. "They were all raising to fame."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"There's a total of ten girls and when the victims died, they were becoming the peoples favorite," Sam explained.

"So we do think there's a case here?" I questioned.

Both Sam and Dean nodded.

"Time to call Bobby," I said, pulling out my phone.

Sam and Dean agreed.

"Hello?" Bobby answered.

"We need your expertise," I said, quickly.

"Now that's a way to start a conversation," He said.

I could hear the grin in his voice.

"I know, I'm awesome," I said smiling.

Bobby chuckled.

"Whatcha need kid?" He asked.

"We think we have a case here in Vegas," I started.

"Vegas?" He questioned with a tone to his voice.

"Yep," I said.

"Dean?" He asked.

"Yep," I answered back in a mono-toned voice.

"Thought so," He said with a sigh. "Well, whats the case?"

I explained to him what the guys told me and he was quiet for a moment.

"I'll look some things up," He said finally.

"Thank, Bobby," I said smiling.

"Just give me a couple hours," He said.

"Oh, Bobby, I never did tell you what happened the other day," I said, grabbing Jason's hand.

"What?" He asked curiously.

"We got Jason back," I said, tears already filling my eyes.

Bobby was speechless.

"That's amazing," He finally said. "Is he safe?"

"Kind of," I admitted.

"Kind of?" He echoed.

"We had a hostage that knew things and was part of it all, but she escaped and we have no idea where she is," I explained.

Once again, Bobby stayed quiet.

"I'll be there sometime tomorrow," He said.

"What?" I asked.

"I'll bring him back to my place where its safe and you can finish this case and find her," He explained.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I love the kid as much as I love you and those Bone Heads," He said with a slightly grumble from my stupid like question.

I laughed.

"Thank you, Bobby," I said.

"Just text me the address," He said and hung up.

"What did he say?" Dean asked looking in the rear-view mirror.

While I was on the phone, Dean had pulled out and started driving back to the hotel.

"He'll look in on it," I said, choosing not to tell them that he's coming.

"There's another thing," Dean said.

I glanced at him through the mirror and gave him a questioning look.

"We need you to do something for us," Sam said, sounding hesitant.

"And we already no you're not going to like it," Dean added.

"What is it?" I groaned.

Sam pulled a paper out of his pocket and handed it to me. I unfolded it and I'm pretty sure my eyes bugged out of my head.

"You've got to be kidding me!" I exclaimed.
