"Hey Pretty Lady"

"This is never going to end," I groaned.

"What won't?" Sammy asked.

"Hunting her, hunting anything that wants to take our lives for a personal reason or a non-personal reason, being hunted," I exclaimed.

"Ash?" Dean asked, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Are you ok?"

"No!" I yelled as kick a hole through the rotting wall. "I'm not fine. I haven't been fine since the moment my brother was kidnapped."

I pressed the palms of my hands to the wall and rested my forehead against the rough surface. I took a deep sigh.

"If your worried about Madeline getting to Jason or to you, I won't let that happen," Dean said quietly. "None of us will let anything happen to the two of you."

I sighed again and shook my head, turning around to look at the three of them, standing there looking confused and worried about my random outburst.

"It's not that," I said, my voice soft and choked up.

"Then what is it?" Cas asked.

I bit my lip, keeping my tears back as they started clouding my vision.

"I'm going to go take a walk," I said, rushing past them.

"Cas, keep an eye on her, please," I heard Dean say.

Instead of turning around and yelling at him that I could handle myself, I just left it be. If anything, it makes me feel a little better that I know he's watching over me.

I ran down two sets of stairs and out the front door, breathing in the fresh air. It was still pitch black out, making my skin crawl slightly. I was still a little scared of being in the dark by myself after I died.

I shoved my hands in the front pockets of my jeans and kept my head down. My mind started racing around to anything that I could do to stop all of this. Nothing came to mind really, well nothing that would be permanent.

Downtown New Orleans was a sketchy place that made my skin crawl more than the dark.

"Hey pretty lady?!" I heard a male voice call out as I walked pass an alley.

Ignoring it, I continued walking. Walking a little faster as I did, I heard footsteps heading towards me.

Refusing to look over my shoulder, I kept walking faster.

"Hey, I'm talking to you," He called out.

Just ignore him, Ashley.

I felt someone grab my shoulder and I whipped around faster than you could think possible.

"Don't touch me," I snapped.

He held his hands up in surrender and took a step back.

"I'm sorry, Miss," He said carefully. "It's just that this fell out of your pocket."

The guy held his hand out, in between his fingers was my real drivers license.

"Sorry I snapped but thank you," I said taking it from him.

"You're welcome," He said smiling.

That's when I realized he didn't have the same voice who called out from the alley.

"Have a nice night," The guys said, tipping his head to me.

"You too," I said, relaxing slightly.

I turned around and kept on walking down the road. I looked down at my license. A smiling face looking at the camera, not a trouble but keeping Jason fed on her mind. Everything is so different now. Now...now I'm dealing with freaking demons on an everyday basis.

Dealing with demons...hmmmmm. An idea starting forming and suddenly, I knew what I had to do.

It was entirely stupid, completely idiotic, and extremely dangerous, but I knew what I had to do.

It required something's I didn't have. Looking around at my surroundings, I knew I had to be careful or Cas would stop me before I could get it done.

Finding a magic shop, I managed to find everything that I needed all within five minutes. Keeping the contents of my bag hidden from sight so Castiel hopefully couldn't see it, I ran around until I found exactly what I was searching for.

Crouching down, I took everything out of the bag. Setting out a small lock box, I filled it with graveyard dirt, a couple bones from a black cat, and a fake ID that I don't use anymore.

Digging into the soft soil of the ground, I dug a big enough and a deep enough hole for the box. Placing the box in the hole, I buried it back up and stood up. Dusting my hands off on my jeans, I looked around the crossroad, waiting for the demon to make my deal.
