Today's Valentine's day, and it sickens me. I woke up and the first thing I see in the morning is my parents being all lovey-dovey and Juliette picking up cupcakes and flowers from her boyfriend who is also her baby's father.
Deciding against puking first thing in the morning, I forced myself up and was bribed by Aria to wear Red and White today since apparently she and Mads wanted the entire group including the guys to coordinate today. I decided on a red knitted shirt and a simple skirt.

I ran downstairs, stuffed some pancakes into my mouth since I was getting late. I had to be at least 30 minutes early today to help the guys out.I walked to my car, and saw a piece of paper sticking from the windshield. That's weird.
I picked up and read it, "Since you hate valentine's day, I decided to make this one, something you'd love forever. The hunt begins, your next clue lies where it all started, Popcorn." I smiled. He knows how much I hate valentine's day and he told me he had nothing planned. I decided to go to the park where it all started, 10 years ago.
I reached the park and I saw a kid holding a balloon and a letter with the same design as the previous one. The kid looked up at me and god was he adorable. He gave me an adorable smile and asked me if I was Popcorn.
I nodded and asked him if he had anything for me. He handed me the letter and the balloon, as much as I loved balloons, I knew the kid wanted it so I let him have it. The second letter read, "The rest of the hunt will be spread along the day, your next clue lies at our favourite spot in school."
I rushed to my car and headed to school seeing as I was still 15 minutes earlier than usual. I parked my car and practically ran into school. I ran towards the back, near our oak tree. Rhy and I discovered this spot, hidden away one day in Freshman year and made it our spot since. I found another balloon, and a note alongside. "Ever the smart indeed, the next clue is with your darling brothers."
Brothers? I didn't have any male siblings and my male cousins are all in the UK. Lost in thought I went to the first period, Rhy wasn't there I was hoping to get a clue on the latest letter. Giving up, I headed towards Eng lit and sat next to Rowan and Paxton when my brain finally snapped the pieces together. He didn't mean my blood-related brothers.
He meant the guys. They both watched me with amusement as my eyes widened and I attacked them. I tackled the both of them to the floor and emerged with victory as I found another letter. "Don't kill the guys Popcorn. Your next clue is at lunch :) and you will be picked up by my chauffeur to escort you there."
Chauffeur? In school? 3 more periods for lunch, come on Poppy you can do it. I whispered this to myself and got off Rowan and Paxton who were currently on the floor. I helped the both of them up and settled down into my seat as I counted down the minutes for lunch break.
3 periods went by through a whirlpool of tests,notes and excitement and as I left my class to go to the cafeteria, Alex came running towards me and carried me on his back. I shrieked when Alex told me, "At your service m'lady". Times like this is when I really want to kill Rhy.
One embarrassing piggyback ride later, I was dropped in the cafeteria and Alex rushed behind Mads before I could kill him. All of them seemed to be extremely amused at my reactions. This is what I get for helping all of them out yesterday.
Rhy was missing again, probably finding better ways to embarrass me, I just hope it isn't that bad this time. I looked around for my clue when Trixy grinned at me mischievously. I attacked her obviously and found a letter tucked away in her pocket. She was supposed to give to me after lunch but I might as well get ahead with this "treasure hunt"
The clue read, "Your last clue for the day, find me at our diner, in our booth. I'll be waiting."
It would be a lie if I said that didn't give me butterflies. Regardless I got on with the school day and rushed straight to the diner.
I walked in and breathed in the familiar scent of chocolate milkshake and greasy burgers. I smiled at the waitress and chef, both were very close to me.This is what I call home. I went to the booth at the far end of the diner and it was surrounded with balloons and that latter.
I was carefully going through everything when Perfect started playing through the speakers. I turned around to see Rhy standing looking absolutely heavenly. He held up a poster asking me, "Will you go on a date with me Popcorn?". I smiled at him as butterflies filled my stomach and nodded, "I'd love to Rhy."
