Once she was ready to leave, she left later that day, when she was sure she could walk on her own two feet. It was still strange to not have anything to do, and she couldn't just speak to someone about it. Besides, shouldn't they come to her to speak to her about it? Nonetheless, it felt good to have a break from it all. Maybe she didn't want to tell anyone?

While walking, she finally remembers the girl who chased her. She didn't even remember running away, all she remembers was just...walking down the path and seeing the girl. She thought that Venra was going to assassinate Master Diluc, which she wasn't. The girl then apologized profusely before she left again. And then the wine...odd. She didn't have much interest in it anyway. She didn't think she would drink it. Unless she could give it to someone back at Mondstadt, which also would be awkward because she's a part of the Fatui. Nobody would trust her. She didn't need anyone's trust anyway. Why would she? What's the purpose? She did want to get the girl's name, but she didn't have the chance. She sighed and kept walking.

GROWLLL...

"Oh. Have I...eaten anything?" Normally, she doesn't have to question herself whether she did eat or not, but now, she was really...REALLY hungry. "Do I really have to head back to Mondstadt?" She thought out loud. Then, she makes her way back, hoping Sara from Good Hunter doesn't think she's suspicious. Once she gets back, the noise of Mondstadt overwhelms her. After not being there for a few days, it certainly feels different. The chatter is mostly normal, except for a few different people...

She walks to Good Hunter and realizes that those different people were sitting at Good Hunter. She orders. "Hey! Welcome to Good Hunter! How may I help you today?" Venra grins. "I'd like an order of Sticky Honey Roast, please." Sara nods, and says, "It shall be out shortly! Take a seat!" And so she does. Venra, trying not to look weird, eavesdrops on the conversation between the weird men. "We heard that Braydon caught that Fatui girl. What's her name...Ven...Ven something."

"Really? Was it that simple?!"

"Yeah, from what I heard the girl was in a very unresponsive state until after she got her beating. Teaches her not to hurt my dad."

Oh. I see. That politician...that was his SON that tried to hurt me. That little...

She stopped her thoughts before they got worse.

I can't think about that. Barely anyone from Mondstadt knows that I am a part of the Fatui. If my role gets exposed by killing this kid, I'm over. I guess I'll have to find other ways to deal with this kid. Maybe he isn't even a kid? Who knows, he looks like he is in his early twenties...

She gets her order of food and continues to overhear, now having something sweet and savory in her mouth.

"Well, what did Braydon do to the gal?"

"I heard that he beat her up. Couldn't help himself, he says. Kinda weird that he 'couldn't help himself"

"Maybe it is weird, and besides, he was a very crazy person himself. Heard he finds pleasure in a good fight."

Is that so? Well...

I do too.

Frustrated. She finishes up, and on purpose, gets up quite dramatically, and walks away. "Aaaah...so that's his son...and he tried to kill me! This is so...so...exciting."

She giggles, feeling a sudden rush of adrenaline, and excitement flow through her. This was her chance, and she needed to take it or else she wouldn't get the revenge she so desperately needed. It was wrong for his dad to ask why they were there, and even worse when the son tried to almost kill her. She needed to do something, and NOW. All she needed to do was know his whereabouts...

For the night, she wandered through Mondstadt, waiting, and waiting, until she found SOMETHING that may have resembled the kid, so she can track him and get revenge. She then found herself back at where the son was, thinking she could find some good clues there. There, she found a small piece of leather. Leather off of a...bag? She sees a hem and knows it was clearly off a bag or clothing piece. That was a big clue. Clothes. That could help a lot. She grins, laughs, and keeps walking in that area to see what else she could find.

A shriek. Something she heard all the too often, and at this point, wasn't even scared of it anymore. She walked over to where the noise was. She looms over a kid...or should I say the kid. He had been attacked by hillichurls and was bleeding in a lot of places. What stuck out most was his wrist being dislocated. That's probably why he was sobbing and screaming. "G-get away from m-me!" He yelled at Venra, but she still stood there, deciding how his life would end. "GET AWAY!" He yells again. Finally, she speaks.

"How unfortunate. I do have to say...you fended off those hillichurls well..."

"W-what's going o-on...w-what's with your s-sword...?"

She was charging up her sword, by applying Cryo energy to the tip of the blade to add more damage.

"This'll be quick for you...and don't underestimate me. Now. Here are your choices...you either A: Stay away from the Fatui...or B: Choose to fight me, and not win. The choice is yours."

"..."

"Speak now or forever hold your peace."

The kid stood up, held up his weapon, and attacked, landing a blow to her side. Groaning, she picks up her sword and slices at his arm, the only body part that was open, and easy to cut through to end this battle. But he persisted and fought more.

"Don't make me get serious..."

"T-try me."

She jumps up into a tree, swiftly, while he looks and yells out.

Rustle...

The leaves flow, but there is no wind. From above, she jumps down and plunges with her sword. The kid gets knocked back but stands up, but just barely holding on. He knew that he didn't have a chance but he still tried anyway. Then, her special skill. With a swish of her sword, at first, that confused the kid until he was hit with a sudden and intense coldness. He saw little scratches that progressively got bigger all over his open skin. They were even sharp enough to tear small holes in his clothing. 10 seconds later, he laid on the floor, bleeding more than before, and barely conscious.

"Do you want to continue?"

"...n-no...l-let me go..."

Gladly, she left, leaving him there to figure himself out, and her to calm her nerves down. The night progressed, and Venra found a tree that provided a lot of shade and comfort. There, she sat and fell asleep...

"GRAAAH!"

She woke up and saw...something loom over her.

BONK.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL!"

She realized it was just a hillichurl, who found offense to her sleeping in its territory. She didn't even feel like fighting since she just got awoken VERY early in the morning. She kicks it in the leg, and it rolls down a hill, which made her giggle. She fell back asleep again, peacefully.

She groans a while later, still tired, and now hungry again. With no food, and somewhat far away from Mondstadt, she got up, stretched, and kept walking to find some berries. "Berries...berries...berr-'' She stops and looks up in a tree. Even better! Apples! She picked a few down and ate them, savoring each sweet, crisp bite. "Oooh...these are perfect." She says, grinning. Sweet and crunchy food was always an enjoyment for Venra. The sweetness of the apples perfectly complemented the slight crunch of the apple when she bites into it. It was true bliss to her.

The breeze was a little cold, but it made her comfortable. The warm sun and the cool breeze also complemented each other, by creating a perfect picnic mood. A little squirrel ran up to her, smelling the aroma of the sweet apples. "...Aaah...hello?" She smiles. The squirrel gave her puppy eyes, and it was hard to resist them. "Fine. Fine...I guess I'll share with you..." She tosses a piece of apple to the squirrel and it runs away with the piece secured in its mouth. She smiles, genuinely happy for once. She gets up and bites into her second apple, in a good mood.
