Sorry for the angsty chapter, so here is some info about the a/u and headcanons about licorice

This au is set in modern times and shares a lot of components with our reality, such as artists and technology.
It doesn't matter if you see the characters as cookies or humans, I put stuff in the stories alluding to both so just imagine it whatever way you please
The reason licorice has only an MP3 player and no newer tech, is because the cookies of darkness don't have much tech, the only thing the group has is an old computer, (which licorice mainly uses to put songs on his MP3 player)
Licorice had the MP3 player since before he joined the darkness, so he just kept us since he is a big fan of music

-licorice is bisexual with no preference
-he has a very vast music taste to say the least
-licorice for some reason is drawn to will woods music, his favorite son is doctor sunshine since it fits his vibe, yet he relates I/me/myself to his complex relationship to both his body and masculinity
-licorice suffers from bad rsd (rejection sensitivity dysphoria) so he really likes praise. (Not in a weird way, unless you think so, again, idrc)
-licorice is an avid seamstress, sewing both his robes and mushrooms hat
-licorice had a shell collection as a kid (I don't know where this came from but I just want it to be true for some reason)
-licorice once made a Halloween costume for batcat, which batcat hated
