Ch. 9 This is how we party

A/N Here is a chapter that will mostly be just for fun. I will be using song lyrics in this chapter. I will mention the song they belong to just in case you all want to look them up. I wont be putting in any videos cause there are too many I think to put in and I dont want to disrupt the flow too much. Will also  put in a third person POV in there so I can talk about the different characters thoughts and feelings in reaction to certain actions. Will have certain characters POV too mostly before and after the main dancing. I hope you all enjoy how I imagine Lotus pier gets down and Parties. While the Lan sect mostly watches. Enjoy!

Wei Ying's short POV

I walk around Lotus Pier mostly watching the servants putting the finishing touches on preparation for the party. Lan Zhan is walking with me. I wonder what parties are like in Cloud recesses? Do they even have parties? Does he have any idea what's in store? Junior disciples from all of the major sects have grouped together. Ones from Lotus pier and Jin sect know what to expect and seem to be looking forward to it. Lan sect juniors have no clue. Other juniors from other sects just look forward to celebrating. Well one things for sure is it's going to be fun. "Do you ever have any celebrations in Cloud recesses?" I ask Lan Zhan curiously. "Mmnnn. When an event calls for it." He says. "Is there any dancing?" "Umm..well I guess sort of." He says. This is sure to be interesting. "Well do you dance at these celebrations?" I ask him. "I dont dance." He says. "I bet you could if you tried." I told him. And he is quiet. Well cant say I'm surprised. Though I really do believe he could if he actually tried. I'm sure they will play songs I know.  I will really move my body. I really want his attention even if he could never be into me that way. I'm sure Jiang Cheng has raised Jin Ling with parties so I have no doubt that boy will dance. Though I have no idea of his style. Will it be like Jiang Cheng's or like mine? I guess we will soon find out. A servant announces that the party is about to begin and we all head over to the large open space by where the disciples junior and senior practice sword Cultivation. There are tables set up and an open area for dancing. I go to a table off to the side and grab a jar of alcohol. The Lan sect all sit together. I'm sitting both near Jin and Jiang sect but I'm kind of by myself since I no longer belong to any sect. I watch as both Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling get jars of alcohol as well and take a drink. I look a notice Lan Sizhui look at it wistfully. And Jin Ling notices this. I can see the wheels turning in his head. As he calls a servant over and tells them something and then the servant leaves. Just what is he up to? Music starts to play and someone sings. This is just the starter shit. The good stuff should come soon. I smile slightly and I take a couple of drinks from one of the jars of alcohol I have.
A little later
I listen then I hear the opening cords to a good song. Hell yeah! It's about time.

Authornim POV

Wei Ying goes to the dance floor and Jin Ling goes with him along with some other disciples junior and senior , male and female. Jiang Cheng rolls his eyes. 'Come, Mr. DJ, song pon de replay
Come, Mr. DJ, won't you turn the music up?
All the gyal pon the dance floor wanting some more..' (A/N Pon de replay by Rihanna and I dont know really any songs from china besides anything I've heard on the Untamed much less any party songs. And even less ancient Chinese songs) Wei Ying smiles and acts like he is beckoning for the singer and musicians to play louder. 'It goes one by one, even two by two
Everybody on the floor, let me show you how we do
Let's go, dip it low, then you bring it up slow
Wind it up one time, wind it back once more..' Wei Ying and Jin Ling do a few steps then drops it down low and slowly come back up. Wei Ying now has Lan Zhan's attention. Jin Ling has Lan Sizhui's attention too. Lan Qiren looks like someone shoved a stick up his ass. 'Come run, run, run, run
Everybody move, run
Lemme see you move and rock it 'til the groove done

You want to groove, I'mma show you how to move..'  Wei Ying and Jin Ling both rock their bodies and shake their asses. Showing the Lan sect how to move. Neither Lan Zhan nor Lan Sizhui knew that the ones that they were into could move like that. They just could not look away. When the beat fades Wei Ying and Jin Ling stop but look at each other. They give a look of understanding and a truce is made for now. Then the opening cords of the next song plays and Wei Ying smirks. It's time to go again. 'I'm so bored with this world that spins around me used to make me dizzy I'm so tired of  these boys that hang around me used to drive me crazy, A little Mayhem never hurt anyone , where'm I gonna get some? A little bedlam till I'm coming undone where'm am I gonna get some?..' (A/N Mayhem by Halestorm) Wei Ying and Jin Ling do some steps and do some spins. As well as some jumps and flips as they dance. Jiang Cheng again rolls his eyes. Lan Xichen is amused by this. Lan Zhan and Lan Sizhui cant look away. And they wonder where they're going to get what. "Mayhem is all that boy causes." Lan Qiren mutters. Lan Sizhui drinks more of what he thinks is juice while his eyes stay on Jin Ling.
