A/N Okay we got some things happening in this chapter. Others are going to witness Wei Ying's memories of the two years he and Jin Ling spent in Huáng Manor. We have some big celebrations with old friends and some more so without further ado let's get right into this Chapter.
Lan Zhan's POV
It's been two days and I know something has been bothering Wei Ying besides the fact he will be sharing his memories of the two years spent in Huáng sect with Jin Ling. And I know whatever it is the resentful energy torments him about it. But when I ask he either says he is okay or he finds ways to distract me. But it worries me something is bothering him and he hasn't told me. How do I help if I dont know what the problem is? It's like he's hiding from me again. And I dont like it. I dont want him to hide from me I want him to always let me in so I can help him. So that he does not suffer alone. And all this is stressing him out. And I have duties as Chief cultivator after we share his memories so we cant exactly have our everyday activity after. Hmm.. I probably should have him go into his small child mindset. And watch over him. I can do that even while performing my duties as Chief cultivator. I take my Qīzi's hand as I lead him to one of Shūshu's large meeting rooms. He is trembling a little. "It will be okay Qīzi take a deep breath and calm down." I tell him softly. He does take a deep breath. But he still seems nervous and so stressed. I take him inside the meeting room where Shūshu, Gege and Jiang Wanyin are all waiting. I'm still not used to seeing Jiang Wanyin with a purple forehead ribbon. I know he married my Gege and they had a baby together. Seeing him with his purple forehead ribbon still seems strange to me. "Ahh Wangji,Wuxian thank you for coming. Wuxian please get into the same position you did last time with your head in Wangji's lap. And stay open to us. That works best. And Wangji be ready to lead us through his memories." Gege says and I sit onto the floor. And Wei Ying lays down with his head in my lap. The music starts to play as the other three sit down. We all close our eyes and start to lead them through his memories.
I open my eyes and see that we are in what was Wei Ying's room in Huáng Manor. He is laying on the bed wearing the brown outer robe of Huáng sect. And he is obviously pregnant. This is the right memory. He would be around 5 months along here. Gege, Shūshu and Jiang Wanyin are all standing with me in the room ad Wei Ying wakes up and notice that he is showing and feeling our baby move for the first time. And him wondering how long it's been. Then that servant girl coming and telling him about the celebration that he and Jin Ling has to attend and how it's been around 2 months. And he doesnt really remember any of the journey. I fast forward the memory a bit passed his bath and meeting Jin Ling for the party. I show them how Jin Ling and Wei Ying ate but it was only for the babies inside. Then later how the Huáng sect leader asked them to dance for them. And how Wei Ying and Jin Ling both refused saying how they only wanted to dance for their Zhàngfū or Wèihūnfū. And how that angered the Huáng sect leader. Who threatened to beat them if they didnt dance despite them being pregnant. So having no choice they got up and went to the dance floor waited for a song to play that they could dance to. Then dance they do. Though we hear Wei Ying's inner struggle since he is further along than Jin Ling. How they get tired at some point and are given some water and are made to dance some more. Though this isn't that bad compared to the rest of the stuff that is done to them I still worry that they were straining themselves at this point. Since it isnt good for either one of them to strain themselves at this point.
