Chapter 5

LISA'S POV

It's been 3 days since Jennie's unexpected visit at my house. And her words before she left my house kept on repeating on my head.

I unconsciously smiled thinking about her words that night. What? What did I just say.

I parked my car infront of Harvey's school. I went out and opened the door for Harvey and carried him.

"Bye baby," I kissed his forehead, "be good there, okay? Make mommy proud, even if I'm already proud of you." Then I kissed him on his nose. He peck on my lips and nodded before I put him down.

He was about to run inside when we heard someone call him.

"Harvey!" We looked at the direction and saw Jisoo and Chaesu.

(A/N: Jisoo bot🤭)

"Goodmorning aunt Lisa!" Chaesu cheerfully greeted. He raised his arms gesturing me to carry him. I carried him and he kissed both my cheeks.

"Goodmorning too baby boy." I put him down and the two ran inside while waving goodbye to us.

Me and Jisoo laughed lightly seeing our boys. They both are bestfriends just like their moms.

"So? Let's go now?" I said she nodded. I was walking towards my car when I felt footsteps behind me. I know it was Jisoo and I was right.

"Give me a ride my cute duck, please." She requested. She always calls me duck and I call her rabbit when we were in highschool. We still call each other that tho.

"Get in." I'm used on giving Jisoo a ride whenever she doesn't feel like driving anyways.

"Thank you, lisayah~"

UNKNOWN'S POV

I called one of my trusted person on the phone.

"Did you get the slot?" I asked once he answered the call.

"Yes boss. One of the school's cook is on a three day leave. I got it on time before someone gets it first."

"Good job. Do the work properly. Don't scare the kid."

"Yes boss. I will."

I ended the call and watched the kid run inside the school with his friend. Then I looked at their moms talking before they went inside their car.

"How could she hide him away from us."

After they're gone, I also went to my own destination.

LISA'S POV

I was busy serving the customers, I maybe the boss here in my cafe but I get bored staying inside my office so I help my friends slash employees with the works.

I'm now on the counter with Sana. She decided to start a conversation but I was really not expecting the topic.

"Babes, I saw Jennie infront of your house yesterday night. What was she doing there?" I tilt my head a bit confused. She went there?

"I- I don't know. I didn't even know she went there." I replied.

"Do you think, she knows?" That question left me frozen. What if she knows? And she will take Harvey away from me. She has a successful business, a great life which she can give Harvey. I only run a cafe and she runs a big company. She's way too ahead compared to me.

"Hey.. nevermind my question. Let's not talk about it. What about the other cafe that is under construction? Is it going well?" She changed the topic when she felt me getting a tense.
