Chapter 11

A/N: SNOWDROP IS COMING ;-; I'M SO EXCITED.

LISA'S POV

Jennie messaged me the address of her company building. I reached there around 30 minutes.

I parked my car and got out then went straight to the entrance but I got blocked by the security guard.

"Do you have any business here ma'am?" He politely asked.

"I'm here to fetch my son." I said and he immediately led me inside. Looks like Jennie already informed him about my arrival.

"So you're his mom? You're son is so cute ma'am. And he look exactly like Ms. Kim." The security guard said, I just smiled and left him going to the elevator.

I didn't realize I was holding my folder filled with the papers for my other cafe. Now I look like an employee here. I pressed the 27th floor, Jennie said it's where her office is located.

The elevator finally closed and was making it's way up when it stopped and a lady in her 40s that I assume is an employee here too. Her face looks so mad, she was talking to someone on the phone and was yelling. She pressed the 20th floor.

When the door opened she finally noticed me. She raised a brow at me and looked at the folder I was holding.

"You! Go back to work!" She suddenly yelled at me. And I was stunned to talk. I always have anxiety attack when someone is yelling at me. I got it when I was kidnapped before.

I just stand still at the elevator not knowing what to say. The elevator was now closing when the woman went inside again and stopped the elevator from closing.

She harshly grabbed me, gripping my wrist hard and dragged me too a cubicle. She throw a folder on my face.

"You make sure those are all arranged! You are all so lazy! Why are you even hired in this big company?!" She yelled and looked around the people.

Some were eyeing on me probably confused. Of course they would. They don't know me!

My hands we're shaking from fear. The woman looked at me again. Her eyes are mad. She suddenly gripped on my jaw.

"What are you looking at?! I told you to arrange those papers right?!" She yells in my face. Why did I get to this situation?

I was just here to fetch my son. Oh gosh.

"I.. ma'am." I stuttered. I don't actually know what to say right now. I'm still shaking.

"What?!" She let's go of my jaw harshly shoving it off. "You're still not going to work?!"

I looked up to her gathering the courage to finally tell her that I DO NOT WORK HERE!

"Ma'am I don't—"

And before I could finish my words, I suddenly felt a sharp stinging pain on my left cheek. She slapped me so hard that I can still feel her hand on mine. My hair flew to my face.

I teared up. Tears flowing nonstop. No one have ever laid a hand on my face, not even Jennie's mom. I can hear murmurs around the floor.

The woman gripped on my jaw again making me face her. "Still not going to work?!"

She lift her hand and was ready to slap my right cheek this time. I closed my eyes ready to receive it. Then I heard someone familiar speak.

"What's going on here?" I opened my eyes and saw Jennie holding the woman's hand. She saw me and her eyes widened. Her eyes were dark, mad! And you wouldn't like to see a mad Jennie!
