Chapter 10

LISA'S POV

"What the heck is she doing here?" Felix asks when she saw Jennie enter the house. He crosses his arms on his chest.

"Not now Felix, it wasn't my idea. It's Harvey's. Just give it to the kid, just go to sleep." I said massaging my temples.

Felix was contemplating at first. "Tsk, Fine!" He huffed. "But she sleeps in the guest room!"

He turned around but was greeted by a now sulking Harvey. He was glaring at Felix.

"She is my mama. Why would she sleep on the other room?" He asks his uncle, Felix was speechless so he eventually agreed that Jennie will sleep with us..... in my room.

"Mommy, are you happy that mama is back?" My son asks me. We are at the bathroom, I took him for a quick warm shower.

I did not respond to his answer. Although a part of me is saying, I am. I just washed his hair, completely removing all the soap.

After that, I dried him and changed him into his pyjamas. He quickly ran and jumped to my bed startling Jennie who was lying down looking tired.

"Wahh! Harvey, you startled me baby " Jennie pouted and hugged Harvey. I found it sweet when the both of them are together, sharing hugs and kisses.

"I'm sorry mama."

I walked to the other side of the bed, I'll shower when Harvey goes to sleep. Harvey laid in between me and Jennie serving as a boundary.

"Sleep now baby, you still have school tomorrow. Aren't you excited?" I ask him, he faced me and gave me a peck on my lips.

"I am mommy, I miss my friends especially Chaesu." He replied and faced Jennie and gave her a peck on the lips too.

Shit! Indirect kiss.

"Goodnight mommy, goodnight mama." He says for the last time. Jennie leans in and gave his forehead a kiss and caressed his cheeks.

"Goodnight baby." She greeted and faced the ceiling.

I played with Harvey's hair until I heard small snores indicating he's already asleep.

I got up and went to my closet looking for a pyjama. I can feel Jennie's eyes looking at every of my moves. I also took an unused pyjamas for her but when I turned around, she was already in front of me. Her beautiful brown orbs locked into mine.

Her eyes are like hypnotizing me. She was just staring at me like I'm something to be stared at. She looks at me lovingly. How did I know it's lovingly? That's how she looks at me before, when she tells me I'm the prettiest girl in the world, the girl who she will only love, the girl she will only spend her life with till she grows old with gray hair.

And as if time stopped, I felt her soft lips on mine. She kissed me with love not lust. I feel like tearing up, I again felt butterflies on my stomach. I never felt this before. Only her can make me feel this, only her.

I just closed my eyes and responded to her kiss. Giving her the same intensity of what she gave me. She cupped my cheeks, she smiled in between our kisses and that's when I cried. She pulled away and hugged me tight. A longing hug.

"I'm sorry." She says as I bury my face on her chest slowly wrapping my arms on her body reciprocating her hug.

She always says sorry and I never say anything after that. But today feels different. She's very sincere. I think it's time to forgive her right?
