Chapter 17

LISA'S POV

"Wow, our new workplace is so good." Taehyung gasp as soon as he saw the newly built cafe that I planned to finally open this week.

"Yuri, did a great work." Yeri said while roaming around. She stepped in the mini library and left me, Tae, and Sana.

"Let me check the kitchen." Sana walked at the back where the kitchen lies then Taehyung followed Yeri to the library.

I smiled looking at my cafe, this is all from my hardwork. I was about to enter the kitchen when the door opened.

"The cafe isn't yet to run—" I froze when I saw who the person is.

Jennie's mom. (Sorry mama Kim ;-;, this is just ff okay!)

"I'm not gonna take a coffee, but I heard you make cakes and breads, I want to take your service for a celebration this week." She smirking. "And I bet you used my daughter's money for this cafe so you don't have the right to say no." She added, I scoffed at the audacity of this woman then a girl entered she's around 25 or so I don't know.

"Oh there you are sweetie, we will use their catering services for you and Jennie's engagement party." Mrs. Kim said that made me clench my hand behind my back. I just gave them a fake smile although deep inside I wanna shove Mrs. Kim's face on the floor.

"Oh really mom? The cafe looks nice." This girl said eyeing the inside of my cafe.

"Thank you." I thanked her.

"Oh by the way Lisa, this is Krystal, Jennie's soon to be wife." Mrs. Kim introduced the girl and I smiled and bowed a little.

"Lisa! The library is already fixed, who fixed that?" Taehyung came out and saw us. He knows how Jennie's mom treats me because he once witnessed how she slapped me on pur highschool days.

Taehyung's eyebrows knitted and was clenching his jaw. He went beside me and took my arm putting me behind him.

"You, what are you doing here?!" He yelled angrily that's when Sana and Yeri came out.

"I came because of this cafe's service. I also wanna invite you all on Jennie's engagement party with Krystal here. You can have Lisa now Taehyung." Mrs. Kim said and pointed Krystal. Mrs. Kim always accuse me of having a relationship with Taehyung. He's my friend, my only boy best friend before. We even treat each other as siblings.

Mr. Kim is way better than Mrs. Kim, he treated me like his own daughter. He's not dead by the way, he's just in another country and I heard from Jennie that he's coming back this month.

"The audacity." Taehyung scoffed.

"Well that's all I want to say, goodbye." Mrs. Kim bid farewell and left us.

Sana rubbed my arms comforting me as I didn't realize that tears are now coming out of my eyes.

I went home at 2pm, I messaged Jennie to fetch the kids which she said yes. I'm tired and so emotionally drained. I walked to Jennie's closet and took one of her shirt. Then I laid down our bed and put her shirt on my sleep then I went to sleep. I miss her scent already.

JENNIE'S POV

Me and the kids finally reached home, they voth went straight to their room to change while I noticed that the lights were all off.

Did Lisa went home or is she still at the cafe?

I went to our room and noticed the door was half open. I entered quietly thinking maybe she's sleeping. And I'm right, I find it funny because my shirt was wrapped on her face while I hear her little snores.
